Best Fifth Wheel Hitch to Use with a Reese Revolution/Sidewinder Pin Box

Question:

I am trying to decide on a 5th wheel hitch for my 2013 f-250 diesel to tow a trailer with a Reese Revolution pinbox. I dont want to overspend, but want a quality hitch with no movement. I want to make sure the ride is good and safe. Is it worth the extra $$ to get the Reese Titan over other Reese hitches? Why does it state that the cushioned Curt hitch is not compatible with the Reese Revolution pinbox? Would that make it not compatible with the cushioned Reese Titan hitch?

If you are looking for the quietest possible ride I would recommend you go with a Reese Select Fifth Wheel hitch like part # RP30081. I recently spoke to my contact at Reese and asked which would be quieter the Titan or the Select and he said the Select would be much quieter due to it's superior jaw design. This would be a great hitch to use that I would highly recommend. The correct wedge you would need would be the part # SWW-03.

The Curt Q Series hitches aren't compatible with the Sidewinders because of how wide the jaw opening is on the head of the hitch.

Unfortunately the Demco Recon is not compatible with rotating pin boxes such as the Reese Sidewinder. this will be the case with any gooseneck to 5th wheel adapter.
