Will Curt X5 Fifth Wheel Adapter Fit Over Spray In Bed Liner
Question:
got a 2015 gmc. curt flip over i receved a first hitch adapter that i found out that it was not what i should use. Then send in and ordered another 5th wheel adapter but was for a bandw hitch. So sent that back and got the other x 5 adapter plate now when installed my doubel locking pins do not pin in.I do have a spray in bed liner but think that it is the guide slot that is not deep enouph. I am trying to figer things out but am getting frustrated. I only need a 1/4 inch for plate to go down. Any ideas?????????

Curt states that bed liners can affect the fit of the X5 # 16310. Basically if the Curt X5 can be pinned in like normal then it can be used with a bed liner.
Because every truck and bed liner combination is going to be slightly different there is no set list of vehicles and liner combinations available to determine if it will fit or not. The pin hole center for the X5 is approximately 2 inches from the bottom of the unit. If you can measure from the surface of your bed liner down to the pin hole center in the ball cavity you can determine if this 2 inches is enough.
