Question:

As I join 2 roller bunk on each side. They do not bend with the weight of the boat at the junction MY QUESTION : My trailer is a caravan, each bunk wooden bunk boards measures 8 feet long. Can you tell me the correct roller and brackets for saltwater. YOU ANSWER : What you can do is use 2 sets of the 4-foot long sections, # DL21740, one for each side of the trailer to get two 8-foot sections. Each set is rated for 2,500 pounds. They can attach directly to a flat surface or you can attach them to the frame using 2 sets of the bunk brackets, # DL21742.

It depends on how you have them mounted to the trailer. If you attach them directly to the bunk boards then the boards will fully support the rollers and the two sections will not flex. If you remove the wooden bunks and mount them with brackets then they could flex depending on where you have the brackets mounted and where you place the brackets.

There aren't 8 foot long sections available so to get 8 feet you would have to put 2 of the 4 foot sections in a line.
