We actually have a kit that includes everything you will need to add a fully functional 7-Way trailer connector to your 2003 Toyotas Highlander. It is 4- and 7-Way installation kit # ETBC7. Once installed it will provide you with both a 4-Way and a 7-Way connector. It comes with the wiring and circuit breakers you will need along with a mounting bracket. I have included a couple of links that explain and show the ETBC7 installation for you.
If you will be towing any trailers that have electric brakes you will also need a brake controller. The links also explain how you would install a brake controller using the ETBC7 kit. For a brake controller I recommend the P2 # 90885. It is our most popular controller because it is easy to set up and use and it is reliable.
