In order to determine if the Kuat Beta Bike Rack, part # B202-114 will clear your spare tire, you will have to make a measurement. The shank on the rack measures 10-1/2 inches from the pin hole to the upright portion of the rack. Measure from the hitch pin hole in your receiver out past the furthest point of the spare tire. An easy way to do this is to have a helper hold a 2x4 flush against the face of the spare tire. The distance from the pin hole to the lumber needs to be less than 10-1/2 inches (I would suggest allowing at least an inch so the rack will not rub on the spare tire) in order for the the upright of the bike rack to clear your tire.
Most of the bike racks that we offer list the length of the shank in the product description. Once you determine the length you need to clear, any rack with a shank longer than that measurement would work for you.
Keep in mind that the Kuat Beta is designed for Class II receivers that measure 1-1/4 inches by 1-1/4 inches. If your Jeep has the 2x2 inch Class III receiver, you would want to use a rack designed for a 2 inch receiver. Kuat offers the Beta part # B202-2 for 2 inch receivers but the shank is shorter, measuring 7-1/2 inches from the pin hole to the upright.
