Installing 7-Way Trailer Connector and Brake Controller on 2013 Nissan Frontier
Question:
Hello, I have a 2013 Nissan Frontier that did not come with the factory tow package. I purchased the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56225 thinking that I was only going to need a 4 pin connector. However, I now need to tow a trailer with a 7 pin connector and electric brakes. If I purchase the Nissan Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring Harness, 7-Way #118267 and a brake controller, will this allow me to tow a trailer with a 7 pin harness and electric brakes?

You're correct, the Curt T-Connector # C56225 is indeed what you'd need to convert your existing 4 pole to a 7-way, since you've already installed the relays and jumper harness that's included with the # C56225. The jumper and relays complete the tow package.
For a brake controller, I'd recommend the Tekonsha Primus # TK90160 if you'll be towing a trailer with standard electric brakes or the Prodigy P2, part # 90885, which will work with either standard electric or electric over hydraulic braking systems. You'll also need the # 3050-P wiring adapter-one end would plug into the connector under the dash, the other end into either of the brake controllers I recommended.
