Question:
If I do is the brake switch normally open or closed and witch wire color on brake switch does the wire to the RV go to? The brake and turn signal are combined. My 2015 jeep Cherokee latitude has push button start. Witch fuse would you get power from?

Expert Reply:
A brake light relay, # RM-88400, will be required if your 2015 Jeep Cherokee is wired with a 4-diode light kit, # RM-154. Or you could go with a magnetic kit such as # RM-2120 instead.
For a braking system that comes with the brake light relay use the Even Brake # RM-9400. If the push-button start feature does not start the engine when the brake fuse is removed, then you need to perform a normally closed installation. Consult the vehicle owners manual for the fuse locations.
The brake switch wire on your 2015 Cherokee that you will need is a dark green/light green trimmed wire. Look for it on the brake switch above the brake pedal. You will need to use stop light switch kit # RM-751471 with this vehicle as well. It ensures that you are alerted that the brake pedal on the toad is actually moving.
