Torklift Hitch and Extension Recommendation for a 2015 Ford F-350
Question:
Good Afternoon, I have a 2015 F350 4x4 Dually with Towing package Gross Trailer Weight 19,000 pounds. It came with receiver. Do I need to throw it away to use this extension? It only has one opening, and the super truss requires two. Is there an adapter that wont reduce the original towing capacity too much? Thanks in advance!

Expert Reply:
To use the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension # TLE1560 with your 2015 Ford F-350 you would need to remove your factory hitch and install the Torklift Hitch part # TLF1002-30.
The capacity of the setup will then be:
Maximum gross trailer weight: 5,000 lb
Maximum GTW when used with weight distribution: 10,000 lbs
Maximum tongue weight: 500 lbs
Maximum TW when used with weight distribution: 1,000 lbs
