Will Yakima Skybox 21 fit 2012 Subaru Outback with OEM crossbars Without Interfering with Hatch

Ive heard conflicting reports. Will a Yakima Skybox 21 fit on my 2012 Subaru Outback 3.6R factory crossbars, without interfering with the hatch? Thanks

To determine if there will be hatch interference with the Yakima SkyBox 21, Black Carbonite, # Y07337, and your 2013 Subaru Outback with OEM crossbars you will need to do a little measuring. Measure from the center of the front crossbar back to the seam between the top of the hatch and the roof.
If you get 57 inches or more then the box will fit without rear hatch interference. Take a look at the diagram I provided.
If you come up with a different number let me know what it is and I can determine which boxes will fit without hatch interference.
