Will the Malone Profile18S Rooftop Cargo Box Clear the Hatch On a 2015 Subaru Forester
Question:
Will the 18 cu ft fit with Yakima crossbar on a 2015 Subaru Forester or should I go small like a 16 or 14. Bigger would be better.

The Malone Profile18S Rooftop Cargo Box part # MPG910 will fit a 2015 Subaru Forester no matter what crossbars you are using. That said, if you want to be sure that you can open your rear hatch fully with the cargo box attached you will need to do some measuring. If you have a bare roof with fixed mounting point then I can confirm the Malone Profile18S will clear the rear hatch but if you have raised side rails then you will need to move the front crossbar all the way up and then move the rear crossbar 24" from this. Once this is done you will then need to measure from the center of the rear crossbar to the line where the roof and hatch meet. The Malone Profile18S requires 21". The Malone Cargo16 Rooftop Cargo Box part # MPG902 only requires 16".
