The installation of a brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885 on your 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited should be very similar to the installation of a brake controller on a 2013 Wrangler as in the attached video. The # 90885 is our most popular brake controller because it is easy to install and operate.
You will need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller, part # ETBC7.
Some of the other items used for the installation are the no-drill bracket, part # 18140, that can be used with the ETBC7 but not required, and the grommet, part # SWC8057.
For jacketed duplex 10 gauge wire use part # 10-2-1, and for 10 gauge single blue wire use part # 10-1-1. To protect the wire you can use the wire loom, part # 459075-1.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
We also offer the wire ties, part # DW05726-25, butt connectors, part # DW05714, and ring terminals, part # 44-5310A.
I have attached a few helpful articles about brake controllers you can check out.
