Need Tire Chain Rated 10mm or Less for 2015 Ford Explorer
Question:
My owners manual states the following: You should only install chains or cables that have been rated as 10 mm or less in dimension as measured on the sidewall of your tire. Not all S-class snow chains or cables meet these restrictions. Chains of this size restriction will include a tensioning device. I do not see this dimension on the information about the chians. I have the P245/60R18 tires on my explorer. Do you have a chain that will work?

I recommend taking a look at the Titan Chain Tire Chains, # TC2319, for your 2015 Ford Explorer. These square-link, diamond-pattern tire chains provide excellent traction in snow and ice and fit your 245/60R18 size tires.
I went to our warehouse to take a measurement of these chains and found that they are 7.08 mm which would meet the 10 mm or less restriction listed in your owner's manual.
