Hi everybody, my name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look at the water dragon, underwater white LED light. If you're looking to replace some underwater lights on your boat, or if you're looking to make that addition of underwater lights like this to your boat, this might be a really good option for you to consider. Let's take a closer look at this light. Now this LED Underwater Light, as you can see, has six diodes and that's gonna provide a bright white light for your boat. Let me give you a real brief demonstration of just how bright this light is.

I have it wired up here to give us some power and as you can see, it is nice and bright even with my overhead studio lights on it is nice and bright. Let me go ahead and turn my studio lights off. And again, I have this on a white covered table, it's very bright. And then let me take a look at the wide view here and you can almost see me just from the light being reflected and these six LED lights or diodes rather are going to be energy efficient. They're gonna be long lasting and they're going to resist vibration as well.

Now let me go ahead and turn my lights on while we're here looking at a wide view. And again, you can just see how bright this light is. So it's really going to cast a lot of light for you and those LEDs are gonna last you a good long time. What's great about these two, is that diodes is gonna be energy efficient, unlike incandescent bulbs and they're gonna last you a good long time. Now this does have a light output of 2,700 lumens and they are sealed in a waterproof housing.

And the diodes themselves are in a clear impact resistant lens unit. And the circuit board inside is a of a military grade construction so it's very rugged and it's going to be very durable and withstand quite a bit of punishment. The urethane potting offers better protection than the common epoxy potting in controlling the heat transfer inside the light. Speaking of heat, it does have thermal protection safety guards, so it is not going to overheat. So that again, very nice features on this particular light.

Now this housing is made out of a durable die cast aluminum, and then it does come with this attractive stainless steel cover and the stainless steel is more specifically 316 stainless steel. And what that means for you is it's going to be more resistant to pitting and corrosion. And again, it's a very attractive cover and it's gonna look great on your boat. Now this is compatible with 12 volt and 24 volt DC systems. As you can see, this is a surface mount light. This does not include installation hardware, so you would have to source that locally, just so you're aware of that. And again, this is a hard wire installation, it's two wires. The white wire will be your power and the black wire will be negative. Let me go ahead and give you some dimensions here, while we have a close-up on this. Looking at the overall length of this light, we are gonna be sitting right at about, if I can keep that lined up there about four and three quarters overall length and then the overall width, that center does flare up just a little bit. So let me see if I can try to take that into an account here for you. We're gonna be sitting right at about an inch and three quarters overall width. And then the overall depth here, we're gonna be sitting almost, lined it up here. Almost five, eight, seven inch, the overall depth here. Another important measurement that I'd like to try to provide for you here is going to be the distance between the mounting holes. See if I can line that up here for you. We're gonna be sitting right at about three and three quarters inches on those mounting holes. So that's gonna be the distance three and three quarters. And again, the total lumens is gonna be 2,700 lumens. And the input voltage of this light is gonna be nine volts of 30 volts. And the power draw is gonna be 1.98 to 2.42 amps. And then the wire length that's included here, I have it bundled up is gonna be 36 inches long. And this does have a limited lifetime warranty. Now, again, this six diode underwater light is white.
