Do you have an older malfunctioning stereo you want to replace so you can get back to rocking out in your rig? Or perhaps you want to upgrade to a stereo that gives you improved sound quality while binge-watching the latest TV show craze? This 3-zone, multimedia stereo with a built-in CD/DVD player provides crystal-clear audio in and around your RV or camper whether you're streaming music from your smartphone, listening to your favorite radio station, or watching a DVD for family movie night.

3 Zones Use Bluetooth to Stream Audio

This stereo has 3 zones that can be connected to up to 6 speakers (sold separately). You can either play your preferred radio stations or you can connect your smartphone to Bluetooth so you can stream all your favorite songs on the fly.

Stereo Settings are Easily Adjusted with iRV App

Jensen RV Stereo Settings

You can use the free iRV smartphone app, included wireless remote control, or buttons on the front of the stereo to adjust the stereo's settings. You'll be able to tweak audio settings such as bass, treble, balance, and volume to set the mood whether you're throwing a large patio party with friends or sharing a quiet, romantic dinner with your spouse. And if you need to get gas and you're halfway through listening to your favorite song, the playback mode lets you save that stopping point when you turn the power off. Then when you turn the stereo back on, the song will continue playing as if it was never paused, preventing you from having to restart the song.

Multiple Connection Points Hook Up External Devices

Jensen RV Stereo Connection Points

This stereo has multiple connection points to hook up external devices so you can have enhanced sound quality in your RV. You can use the pass-through HDMI port to hook up your TV for family movie night, or you can use the auxiliary port to play music from an MP3 player. And at the end of a long day at the campsite, you can use the 5-volt USB port to charge your smartphone.

Tuner Stores Multiple Stations for Quick Access

For when you're on the go and are running behind your vacation schedule, you can save some time by using the digital AM/FM tuner, which has programmable presets so you can quickly and conveniently access previously saved stations. If you want to be able to get to your favorite stations with the push of a button, you can save them using the 6 numbered preset buttons along the bottom of the stereo. And if you're on the road and your favorite stations at home are fading out, you can easily scan through up to 30 stations from surrounding areas.

Recessed Installation into an Interior RV Wall

Jensen RV Stereo Installation

This double-DIN stereo recesses into a taller interior wall of your RV or camper and bolts down with mounting hardware (not included). If you're not directly replacing a stereo, you'll have to cut a hole that measures 6-11/16" wide x 3-15/16" tall x 6-11/16" deep. Avoid mounting this stereo near heat radiating appliances such as electric heaters or anywhere thats poorly ventilated, humid, or dusty. Then use the included wiring harness to hook the stereo up to power and ground, as well as the TV and speakers you have in your RV.

I updated my IRV-36 with the IRV-63 because the 36 model would not play TV audio from my Samsung smart TV via the HDMI TV.

I used the wiring diagram from both manuals makeup a cross-reference chart to wire in the new model 63. The lead designated "Blue ANT POWER OUT" (pin #2 on model 36 & Connector A,pin #2 on model 63) was not connected to anything. I contacted Patrick Industries about this wire and was advised to not to connect it to anything.

Joanne K from e-Trailer was very helpful with placing the order and getting the unit to me in a timely manner. She also provided me a support number.

Unit installed and everything works great. I will do business with this company in the future.

Great replacement for the Furrion. We had it professionally installed but still had a weak ground connection that caused a buzzing. The only hiccup is that the IRV remote also works on the same frequency as the furrion fireplace! Turn up the stereo and send the fireplace setting to scorch!

by:

We had to return the first unit as there was an issue. The eTrailer team quickly addressed our issue and provided a return label and promptly sent a replacement. Will definitely be purchasing from this company again, great customer service.

by:

Nice stereo, but the instructions are terrible. Just a helpful reminder to others that you have to hook the red wire (accessory) to the yellow (battery wire) if installing in an RV, otherwise the unit will not power up. There are not any instructions on the internet for this model so be ready to figure it out for yourself. Thanks to etrailer for taking my call on a Saturday and getting back to me. They tried but by then I had figured it out and completed the installation.

After one year the stereo is still working great and I used on every trip to the desert. No issues.

by:

This was not a drop in replacement for the previous model that died. Extra changes to the wiring harness and subsequent discovery that none of the audio channels work in stereo was very disappointing. Will probably replace with cheapo version when selling camper

by:

Ordered RV media player IRV64FR (which actually doesn't exist) and received IRV63. When I ordered I presumed it was a later rendition since the price was more than $xxx above other distributors price for IRV63. Customer service later told me to look at the very last sentence in the product description as they 'made up' that stocking number (IRV64FR) themselves. Even their online video appears deceiving. I'm wondering why they don't advertise/sell it as the correct mfg model number? It bothers me that they still insisted I pay the return shipping cost. This once trusted etrailer site has lost credibility AND my future business. Buyer beware.

It is a bit odd, but we are not allowed to use the manufacturers part numbers on our site, per the manufacturer requests. This may cause some confusion and that is why we have that sentence at the bottom of the description that has the manufacturers part number attached so that you have that number accessible.

by:

It sounds much better than the TouchAudio it replaced the video portion still doesn't work. I cannot see onscreen menus or hear TV even though I plugged in my hdmi cable into the back of the unit and going to the ARC input on the TV.

by:

Fit perfect works great

Etrailer has always had whatever I’ve needed for my 2016 28f Arctic Fox, from switches for my stabilizers, chalks, etc. I recently purchased a Stereo/ cd/ DVD player that I couldn’t get to work, contacted Kennika C at Etrailer, told her my problem and she quickly walked me through a trouble shooting guide over the phone , we came to the agreement that the unit had some sort of malfunction, she offered to send me another unit (same model) with no questions asked, it arrived in a timely manner. I installed it within an hour and it works flawlessly, I want to thank Etrailer and especially Kannika C for helping me through this replacement of our entertainment unit, I will continue to purchase from Etrailer knowing and trusting that I’m going to get quality parts and that I can trust that they will backup what they sell

by:

Received replacement last one led screen went out after a few months etrailer was great at getting me new one.hope this one lasts time will tell.

by:

This was a good replacement for my original 5th wheel entertainment system. Had to make a panel to reduce hole size , but it came out looking good and the stereo works great

by:

Seems to work ok,doesn't seem loud enough to be 50 watts. It's alright for the money.

by:

Looks like it will be a good unit

by:

The third IRV is working ok. The first one I purchased had some weird problems with the audio, the second one the clock was bad! Quality is poor

by:

Received & installed. Initial use seems to be working well. Installation was easy. I think it would be a good product for an RV.

by:

It wired easily to our existing rv stereo and works great!

  • Replacement RV Stereo and Backup Camera for 2000 Beaver Marquis Motorhome
Both the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System # RVS-770613-NM and iRV RV Stereo # IRV64FR will work to replace your broken systems. The camera will be a fairly straightforward replacement, but for the stereo you will need a 6-11/16" wide x 3-15/16" tall x 6-11/16" deep cutout. I'm not sure what the cutout for your old Alpine is right now. If you can let me know I would be happy to see if there is a better fit available.

  • Does iRV Stereo part # IRV64FR Require a Subwoofer Install
You do not have to install a subwoofer when installing the iRV Stereo part # IRV64FR. The midrange and high frequency speakers will work just fine without a sub. Adding a sub would give you much more bass through your setup but it's not a requirement at all.

  • Troubleshooting a 3 Year Old iRV 34 In 5th Wheel Trailer
I haven't heard of this issue before. It sounds like the iRV 34 is having an issue that doesn't have to do with adjusting settings. It sounds like something is resetting and shutting down or there is a need to clean the lens. I'd start with cleaning the lens and see if that solves it using a cleaning disc. If it is something more than that it most likely needing replaced. The iRV RV Stereo - Double DIN - HDMI, AUX, Bluetooth, App Control - 50W - 3 Zone - 12V # IRV64FR replaced both...

I have the perfect fit for your with the Jensen RV Stereo w DVD Player # JWM60A. This stereo requires a 9" wide x 6" tall x 5-1/2" deep cutout hole to mount, making it a seamless replacement since you won't have to fabricate a cover plate. This stereo can play CD's and DVD's, MP3 or WMA files via USB, and also through your smartphone using Bluetooth. I've attached a short video below where Ryan will run then through the rest of the features and give you a better look at it once installed.

We do have some replacement stereos but nothing that matches your dimensions exactly so you will need to modify your mounting space a bit. I recommend using a 3-zone stereo like the iRV RV Stereo # IRV64FR which has mounting dimensions of 6-11/16 in wide x 3-15/16 in tall x 6-11/16 in deep. • Recommended RV Stereo With HDMI Port Replacement For A Jensen AWM970 RV Stereo System
The closest replacement with an HDMI port to your cutout size is the iRV RV Stereo - Double DIN - HDMI, AUX, Bluetooth, App Control - 50W - 3 Zone - 12V Item # IRV64FR. It is smaller than your current cutout so I recommend getting a dash plate and cutting the required size hole in it for the stereo and then mount it to the wall and then mount the stereo to the dash plate. You can find these at your local auto parts stores.

If you're receiving 12v at the iRV RV Stereo # IRV64FR but it still won't power up then you most likely have a blown fuse. The fuse hold is in-line with the wiring harness so if you were checking the power where it connects to the power wire from your trailer you wouldn't be able to see if the fuse was the issue. I recommend checking the fuse to see if the inner wire between the two terminals is broken. If the fuse is blown you can replace it with a 15 amp fuse. If the fuse is fine and...

I have a few options to replace the iRV33 Stereo. The iRV RV Stereo part # 292-101079 you mentioned would require you to enlarge the cutout as well as hardwire the wiring harness which is pretty common for stereo installations. If you are looking for a plug-in-play replacement you'd have to go with the iRV RV Stereo part # IRV64FR which would fit in the cutout but you'd likely have extra space since the unit you have now is much taller.
