Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the HitchMate Stable Load Support for Cargo Stabilizer Bars. This works with the HitchMate Cargo Stabilizer Bar to better contain and manage cargo in your truck bed. It mounts perpendicular to the cargo bar and it keeps items from shifting side to side. This can adjust along the length of the cargo bar for optimal positioning. It simply clamps onto the cargo bar and tightens in place with the included set screws. It's constructed of heavy duty steel.
It also has protective finishing to keep it safe from rust and corrosion.A few measurements to go over with you with real quick. I took a measurement of this portion here, from the edge to where it makes contact with the base. That measured 14 inches long and then the width measurement on this piece right here is an inch and a half. The base measures four inches by two inches and then the opening right here, it's one and three quarter inches, and then the opening up and down right her is an inch and a half.It's a really simple installation. I'll go ahead and show you how it attaches to the HitchMate Stabilizer bar.
I have one right here. So basically what happens is once you have the stabilizer bar in place, you just take this, place it over the bar, and then you tighten it in place by tightening down the set screws. And with those tight, that stable load is in place and that would keep your items from shifting side to side. So that's a really nice design. If for some reason you're installing the stable load, where the ratcheting mechanism is located, this portion here, what you can do is you can actually flip this and install it on the other side, and tighten it down.
So again, this can be adjusted the full length of the bar. It can also be installed on the smaller diameter portion, which on the HitchMate stabilizer bar is what we would call the inner bar. It can be installed on the inner bar as well.And that's gonna do it for today's look at the HitchMate Stable Load Support for Cargo Stabilizer Bars.

Great product for holding items to prevent them from moving around in the truck bed when used with a stabilizer bar. There are flimsy knockoffs that will bend but this one is heavy duty. I bought a second stabilizer bar and four more of these to keep multiple cargo items from sliding around in my truck bed. This Heininger brand is heavy duty and is the best I’ve found. Don’t waste your money on cheaper knockoffs!

Many time the point of stress can be placed on a part of the track system causing failure. I recommend using fasteners in at least every other hole and possibly in every mounting hole to make sure it is secured. The E-Track system like part # E19148 has a weight capacity of 6000 lbs, so it should have the strength needed...
