The number of HitchMate StabiLoad Support(s) # HE4017 you need when using the HitchMate Cargo Stabilizer Bar # HE4015 are going to be subjective and different for each person.
The HitchMate StabiLoad Support(s) # HE4017 is going to keep items from shifting from side to side. The number that you need will depend on how you plan to use them and how many different "sections" you want along your Stabilizer bar. The supports can be adjusted back and forth along the bar offering some versatility. They are often going to be used to keep items between the support and the side of the truck bed. I have included a picture that shows this with a cooler.
Some people choose to get just the cargo stabilizer bar to keep the items in their truck bed from sliding front to back. So, one StabiLoad support bar is a popular choice and is likely all you will need. But, additional bars are available if you would like additional support/sections.
