Video Transcript for Review of Firestone Single Function Air Spring Control Panel White Guage - F2572

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at the single function air spring control panel. This is going to control one pair of air helper springs, giving you the ability to inflate and deflate your air springs from inside of your vehicle's cab. This is designed for air spring systems that do not use tanks and a compressor is required. And to use this, it's going to be very simple.

You're going to push the switch up to inflate the bags and then down to deflate the bags. And as you can see, this does feature a white gauge face, and this is going to mount to your vehicle's dashboard. As you can see, it does include your hardware. It does include this wiring to install this and also instruction manual to walk you through the installation process. Let me retrieve my ruler here real quick and just give you some overall measurements.

I want to give you the width first, and I'm gonna measure the widest point here. So as you can see, we're sitting right about five and a quarter inches wide. And then looking at the depth, and I'm just looking at the depth of the gauge itself, we're sitting right at right at about one and three quarters inches deep. And then the overall height, we're sitting right at about two and three quarters inches tall. That's gonna wrap up our brief look today.

I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

  • Converting Firestone Air Command Compressor System From Wireless To Manual With In Cab Controller
Yes, you can use the Single Function Air Spring Control Panel # F2572 to control your Air Command Compressor System w/ Light Duty Compressor # F2610 from your cab rather than using the wireless app. The ECU and wiring that came with your compressor will need to be removed and the harness that is included with the panel used in its place. You will need enough Firestone 1/4" Air Line Tubing # F99ZR to run from the T-Connector used on the ECU to the control panel in your cab.

  • Converting Air Command F3 Compressor System to Analog Gauge
I spoke with Firestone just now and they told me that to convert the Firestone Air Command kit part # F2590 you have now to an analog setup would just require the Single Function Air Spring Control Panel # F2572 and you'd be set! This gives you a gauge you'd mount in your vehicle interior which has controls for the compressor built into it.

  • Pneumatic Troubleshooting 101
I have attached a pneumatic diagram for you of the air compressor kit both with and without an air tank. You will want to look at these to ensure your air lines are attached in the proper locations. Once you have ensured you have the airlines ran correctly, I recommend checking the system for leaks. The easiest way to check the system for leaks would involve mixing up a spray bottle of soapy water. You will then want to spray all the airlines and fittings down to check for leaks. The...
