Don’t waste your money or time, these things don’t work. You turn the hose on full blast the water goes in a little ways and comes right back out. You’re better off just filling your black tank from the top and then open the valve to force flush the tank. Do this when you’re at the dump station

Thank you for your feedback. I reached out to the manufacturer and was advised that the Hydroflush it is best used when there is a straight drain line from the valve cap to the tank opening If you have bends or curves in the drain lines to the tank opening sometimes it is better to use the Flush King part # F02-4350. This has a valve they can close and fill up the tank to clean it out, and then release the water by opening the valve in the Flush King.

Worked well to help flush black tank. Problem is on my trailer, three drains combine into one outlet. The flush only worked with the black tank which was in line with the outlet. The two gray tanks are on a lateral and the water did not appear to get up into these tanks. The flushing did not clear my tank sensors. All three tanks still show full when all tanks are completely empty. Sensors may be bad. Product does help clean out the black tank as intended. Easy to use, only issue was leak on check valve to hose connection.

by:

It works very well to help flush the black tank it is very durable and well made. With the check valve installed that comes with the unit it is also a very sanitary method to flush the tank

I've watched videos on using this adapter for flushing tanks and hoses on Youtube. So this one looked like a good one to order. Arrived in great condition and seems well made. I'll probably need to re-watch a few videos again to make sure I get the hang of using it. We bought a 22 year old RV and figure it will need deep cleaning into the tanks not just the interior and exterior areas.

I had this Valterra Hydroflush on my previous camper but thought I’d give a similar Campco product a try. The Campco did not provide the rinse force needed to do a good job rinsing my holding tanks. So back to the Valterra which has the necessary pressure. Highly Recommended.

The quality of all the products and accessories I have bought at e-trailer for my trailer conversion project is great:
EZ Coupler RV Sewer Hose Kit w/ Swivel Fittings and 4-in-1 Clear Adapter - (2) 10' Long Hoses - D04-0115: Great Hose and couplers!
Valterra Hydroflush Reverse Flush Adapter for RV Holding Tanks and Sewer Hoses - 45-Degree - F02-4100: Awesome solution to clean up the tanks thoroughly!
Valterra Waste Valve for RV Black Water Tank - 3" Spigot to 3" Lug - T50A: Great valves so far!
Scissor Stabilizer Jack - 18-3/4" Travel - 2,500 lbs - Qty 1 - TJSC-24: Great product, performing as expected.

I have to say at the outset that I use this with another gadget that attaches to it. The second gadget is a valve that allows me to stop the flow down the sewage line. Together, they accomplish two separate things.

If the plumbing really gets jammed, closing the valve, and running water into the Hydroflush, forces the jam back into the tank, thus loosening it. DON'T DO THIS IF YOUR TANK IS FULL, UNLESS YOU WANT A REAL MESS IN YOUR BATHROOM, OR WANT TO BLOW UP A TANK.

The second useful thing you can do with this rig is open and drain your sewage (black water) tank, then close the valve on the gadget. Finally, with this valve closed and the black water valve still open, open your gray water valve. Gray water will try to get down the sewage line, and be blocked by the gadget's valve. Then it will flow backwards into your black water tank. After a couple of minutes, open the gadget's valve and watch all the gunk flow out of your "emptied" black water tank. This is a great way to help keep that tank cleaner and flowing well.

Of course you could do this by connecting a water hose to the Hydroflush, but it's more work.

The Hydroflush is a great, and well made product. It also lets you see what is really going on with your system.

Nice product and thoughtful design. However, on mine, a little plastic part at the top that serves no obvious function other than perhaps to add a holding strap was broken. It does not affect the use of the connector but it is upsetting to get something new with a broken piece.

by:

I’ve now placed my 3rd order with etrailer; each order has been promptly filled and has arrived sooner than my expectations! etrailer has now become my “go to” company for my RV needs.
Additionally, their prices are some of the most competitive around.

by:

The concept of the product is overall good, but the piece where the nozzle goes into the adapter is a little problematic. It has to go in there just right or it could be damaged. I wish the manufacturer would address this possible problem, and make that area of the adapter beefier

by:

My order was processed and shipped the same day it was received. It was delivered as scheduled and was exactly as ordered. Phenominal job!

by:

This thing works a little to well. It cleaned the black water tank great. It made the gage work again. I wouls highly suggest this product. It works awesome.

by:

I have a long drain approach, and this items is very hand in cleaning out the line itself.

  • What is Difference Between Flush King Reverse Flush Valve # F02-4350 and Hydroflush Reverse Flush
The reason the Flush King Reverse Flush Valve # F02-4350 costs more is because it comes with a valve on the end of the swivel fitting whereas the Valterra Hydroflush Reverse Flush Adapter # F02-4110 is basically just the elbow fitting with bayonet fittings on either end. Both would use the same type of fitting as the hose extension part # W01-0009.

  • Sprayer for black water tank
The Flusher Sprayer part # 372571-SprayerA that you mentioned does not rotate. it has a fixed head designed to spray water jets in multiple directions to dislodge any remaining stuff that may be in the tank. The Camco Tornado 360-Degree RV Holding Tank Rinser part # CAM40126 is designed to install in a similar fashion but as you can see in the video below it has a standard hose type fitting on it and includes all of the necessary hardware and bracket to get it installed in such a way...

  • Troubleshooting A Valterra Electric Waste Valve That Keeps Blowing The Fuse
I spoke with Valterra and they stated that there's a microswitch inside of the Valterra EZ Valve Electric Waste Valve # E40B-8 that isn't sensing that the gate is fully closing causing the fuse to blow. This could be either an obstruction blocking the gate or just something on the sensor itself. I recommend using a hose to try and clean out the line and seeing if that solves the issue. You can hook on an adapter like the Valterra Hydroflush Reverse Flush Adapter # F02-4110 to connect a...

  • Can the Tornado Tank Rinser be Installed on the Bottom of the Tank
I have an option but per the instructions the Tornado 360-Degree RV Holding Tank Rinser w/ 6' Long Hose part # CAM40126 should be done on the side of the tank opposite of the flush valve if possible. The location can vary from that two inches from the top of the tank but the bottom is going to cause both leakage and ground clearance issues potentially. There is a back flow preventer but handling that type of use isn't what it was designed for. If the bottom were the only choice switching...

  • Should I Get the Hydroflush with a 45 or 90 Degree Bend
The 45 degree, part # F02-4100, and the 90 degree, part # F02-4110, Hydroflush Reverse Flush Adapters are the same product other than the bend in the line. Which is beter for you depends on your specific application. Most people seem to prefer the 45 degree angle works better for them because of where the waste valve is located on their RV. For some the waste valve is very low and close to the ground so the 90 degree makes it easier.

  • Does the Valterra RV Sewer Hose Carrier # A04-5094BK Have Drain Holes to Drain and Dry Sewer Hose
The Valterra RV Sewer Hose Carrier # A04-5094BK that you referenced does not have pre-drilled holes for the sewer hose to air out, but you certainly can drill some if that is what you are needing. As you can see from the product photos and attached video, the carrier is a straight piece of pipe so a 90 degree elbow will need to be removed prior to storing your sewer hose. This is the case for all of our carriers. If you don't already have a flush valve then I highly recommend using one...
