Can the Tornado Tank Rinser be Installed on the Bottom of the Tank

Question:

Can I mount the tornado tank rinser on the bottom of the tank? I have very shallow tanks and don’t know if I’ll be able to mount it on the side.

I have an option but per the instructions the Tornado 360-Degree RV Holding Tank Rinser w/ 6' Long Hose part # CAM40126 should be done on the side of the tank opposite of the flush valve if possible. The location can vary from that two inches from the top of the tank but the bottom is going to cause both leakage and ground clearance issues potentially. There is a back flow preventer but handling that type of use isn't what it was designed for.

If the bottom were the only choice switching to something like the Valterra Hydroflush Reverse Flush Adapter for RV Holding Tanks and Sewer Hoses part # F02-4110 might be a better option. It can be used and then removed when not in use to limit any issues. I've seen several types of these and you would be surprised just how similar they are when it comes down to effectiveness.
