Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.
- If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
- If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
- If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
- If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

The quality of the tire and rim is OK, the shipping is terrible, it was shipped in a box, loose and it moved around and wore off the chrome in two places on the rim, I don't know if better quality chrome would have helped. I came close to sending it back, but that would be quite the hassle as its big and heavy. Totally dissatisfied.

Was a little disappointed because there a C load range and not D. Bought 2 Trailer King D load range tires 2.5 years ago 3,000 miles and had a massive blowout that destroid the fender,then had to drive 1/16 of mile to find a place to pull over. The chrome was peeling off and caused slow leek so bit the bullet and spent $[XX] for new rims and tires. Guess we'll see what happens down the trail.

It's a bit pricey. However, I wanted to make sure it matched our rim & tires on our tow dolly. Also, the quality of the same.
Sure enough, one of our tires was damaged in travel. The spare came in handy. It fit perfectly on tow dolly.

It has been about a year since we purchased the rim and the tire for our Kar Kaddy SS tow dolly. It was the more accesible place to order it. The rim and tire fit well. However, I did notice the chrome deteriorating faster than it should. Also, the tire blew out while driving through Texas. I am very meticulous on keeping the correct air pressure and so on. Fortunately, I was able to pull off the road and replace it with the spare rim and tire. In general, it has held up. I do find the price to be a bit high! I do purchase other items from etrailer.

If I had known the tire is made in China I would have ordered just the rim and would have bought a Made in USA tire. No wonder some people are having blow out within months of installing these substandard quality tires. I will need to get a new tire installed before I trust my tow car to the dolly.

None of our tires of the ST20575R14 size that you need are made in the USA. But the item # AM10235 has a 5 year warranty and 1 year worry free guarantee.

Wheel was advertised as scratched with a little discount. No biggie ! it's a trailer wheel with a scratch. Well, there's No way it's a scratch. The chrome is coming straight off the wheel and when u pull the manufacturer decals off the chrome came off with them. 339.00 dollars for junk wheel with junk chrome. Should be ashamed. And then offer us 10% off for another wheel. Keep it you need it more then we do. Customer service failed us

We’ve been using the Demco Kar Kaddy SS with surge brakes for a year pulled behind a Class A motorhome and carrying a Buick Encore. The Kar Kaddy is easy to load, sturdy, and well-made. We’ve had no problems. The steerable wheels allow it to follow the RV path and make it easy to navigate tight corners with no problems. The foldable design makes it easy to store. I will also note that we purchased the Demo Kar Kaddy car shield to protect the car from stones, dirt, and bugs as well as a Demco Kar Kaddy spare tire. The shield attached easily and the removable panels can be stored separate from the Kar Kaddy. The spare tire can be attached as well but not along with the shield due to the surge brakes. We did also purchase a wider third party front wheel for the Kar Kaddy to make it easier to push on rough terrain when unloaded.
