As far as I can tell it works fine. Very easy to install and remove for daily use.
Initial installation was a little difficult. One of the required fitting adapter couplings was so tight, I needed to file the edges. I ran into another camper who was having the same problem. When I suggested a file, it resolved his problem.

I reached out to Camco regarding a weld-on installation of the bushings for the Gen-Turi RV Generator Exhaust System # CAM44461. According to my contact, this is a perfectly acceptable way to install the system. When possible, welding will always outperform something like the clamps that are included when performed by a professional. That would be the most secure way to install this and remove any need for concern.

That's a really good question but there isn't a set amount of distance you need to have between the outlet of the Camco Gen-Turi RV Generator Exhaust System part # CAM44461 and your air conditioner. You'd have to use your best judgment on that. In general this releases the exhaust higher than the inlets of AC units so you shouldn't have to worry too much unless it was right next to it.
