With the B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch you get the best of both worlds. When you go to tow, the Turnoverball creates a sturdy, dependable connection with your gooseneck trailer. And when you're done towing, you can stow the ball upside down in the hitch to get full bed access and a clean appearance.

Easy-to-Remove, Simple-to-Store Hitch Ball

The durable steel hitch ball included with the Turnoverball system secures in the hitch with a sturdy, 5/8" thick steel pin that is incorporated into the end of the operating handle. To lock the ball in place, drop it into the hitch hole in the bed of your truck. Then rotate the handle in your driver's-side wheel well counterclockwise until the latch engages. When the latch is engaged, the spring-loaded pin on the end of the handle will be inserted all the way through the base of the hitch ball, forming a strong, solid connection and ensuring absolute security when you're towing.

B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch Operation

When you're done towing, remove the hitch ball by simply pulling the handle out as far as it will go and then rotating it clockwise until it unlatches. Remove the ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch. Then reengage the latch to secure the stowed ball in place.

Unlike typical gooseneck balls - which have round bases - the Turnoverball hitch ball is designed with a square base. This makes latching the ball in the hitch easier because the base won't rotate inside of the hitch like a round base might, so lining the pin up is a snap. The base of the ball also fits tightly within the ball hole during storage. Because only the corners of the base contact the sides of the socket, any dirt or grime that gets into the hitch will fall through the socket, thus helping to prevent any buildup that could cause the ball to seize up in the hitch.

Simple, Custom Installation

This hitch is custom designed for your vehicle. The included mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required - you will need to cut a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drill holes for the built-in safety chain loops - there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame.

Once you have the hitch brackets and body installed, set up the operating handle. This handle is designed to be accessed from the rear driver's-side wheel well. On the end of the handle is the heavy-duty steel pin that secures the hitch ball.

B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch Accessories

B&W makes it easy to tow just about anything. With the many adapters and accessories available, the Turnoverball can be made to work with almost any gooseneck trailer. Hitch balls are available that have a built-in rise, an offset, and even a different connection type. Add on the Companion fifth-wheel hitch - which attaches directly to the Turnoverball with no other parts required - and you can tow your fifth-wheel trailer.

Great product, handled my 18,000lb GVW 5th Wheel with-out issues. Fast delivery and great customer service too!

by:

Can’t go wrong with B&W hitches , install is straight forward everything fit perfect and etrailer ships fast with great customer service. Best hitch on the market as far as I’m concerned and quality is excellent, I have towed heavy and never worry about my hitch. I do add some of the blue loctite to my bolts before installation just for peace of mind.

2012 Ford F-250 Super Duty

product came on time, well packaged, putting unit together was fairly easy only problem we had was getting the bolts out of the truck bed so we could lift it up to slide the rails in.

by:

I purchased this to pull a 25Ton GN trailer with heavy equipment and so far it works great! Good price point and reliable product. I would highly recommend this product and trailer. Thank you!

by:

Works well with all size trailers.

by:

The hitch’s main parts are good it’s the hardware that’s very lacking. Torqued the bolts to spec and the lock washers spread wide open

Install was pretty straightforward. Most difficult part is getting the crossmembers in but an angle grinder fixes that. All holes lined up perfectly. Well made product.

Great products great shipping boxes didn't show up with stuff hanging out or missing like you'd expect from stuff this heavy went together great very heavy works great wish it had instructions instead of having to use them on the phone

by:

Received the wrong hitch, but customer support was awesome and very helpful. Got everything corrected and I’m good to go!

by:

This kit is an exact fit for my truck. The install was fairly easy but definitely not a 2 hour install like one guy made it out to be, he must have had lots of help and it on a lift. My install was 4.5 hours. My biggest problem was the drivers side front bolts, I dropped that bolt about 3 times and hunted it till I found it. Finally reaching over the urea tank top I got that bolt in place. Foregoing that 1 bolt I would have been finished in 3.5 hours. It fit exactly the way it was designed and looks fantastic.

2015 Ford F-350 Super Duty

good quality product. packaged neatly with no missing pieces. nice paint finish. fairly straight forward to install with included instructions. cross rails need a little persuasion to get in place. on my f350 longbed 6.7 I had to unbolt 3 bolts on rear tailpipe section and lower it to install the main hitch assembly. very satisfied.

by:
2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Great hitch and like it. Until I used the drop in fifth wheel plate by B&W (RVK3500). There is a bolt u have tighten up to secure the hitch down. When I tightened it to 60 foot pounds it bent the main pin in the hitch. After fighting the pin to release now the pin is bent. And i cant use the gooseneck ball. And I can't remove the pin to replace it unless I remove the hitch. So long story short the gooseneck plate is good and works great as a gooseneck. But don't buy it planning to use the fifth wheel plate. Won't buy that again.

After speaking with one of our contacts in the Tech Services department at B and W and was told that really the only way the ball retention pin can get bent is if its not slid fully into place when that draw-down bolt is torqued down. Please call us if you have further questions.

2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Good fit for my 2016 F250 4x4 6.2 gas. Hardest part was torquing all the bolts. Tight quarters to get enough leverage on the torque wrench to tighten at those specs.

by:
2011 Ford F-250 Super Duty

It showed up on time, had everything needed for the install, and fit perfect on my 2011 F250 even with my firestone airbags. Also, the video they had for the install was a HUGE help.

by:

Seems like a very well made hitch. Installation directions are very good and were great for a do it yourself guy like me!

by:

Well, I placed my order and was excited that I'd have it for the weekend to put it on my truck. I received it and the turnover hitch was the wrong one. I ordered it on the website and according to the site, I did enter a 2022 Silverado HD, it was the correct one for my truck. So I called customer service to find out that i would be able to return it, but the correct one would be 100.00 more. So I paid for another one and will be patiently waiting on another one. Should have just ordered it locally, would have saved time.

by:

More about purchasing from etrailer than the hitch!!! Be aware of their website and double check everything or you will be paying $XXX to return it….

by:

The customer support I received when ordering the hitch was fantastic. The hitch arrived in 3 days. Installation instructions were easy to follow, and it only took a 3 hours to install. It fit my truck perfectly, cant wait to install a companion 5th wheel and hit the road!!

by:

Great product!

by:
2012 Ford F-350 Super Duty

Well made product and the instructions were pretty good. I suggest watching a YouTube video about the install. I did it by myself with the trucks up on jack stands but it would have been a lot faster for two people.

by:

I got a price from a local trailer shop that’s actually owned by very good family friends on the B&W turnover hitch and red label air bags for my F250, not only was e trailer cheaper but they were 500+ cheaper. I’ve always been skeptical on online shopping and usually avoid it at all cost and will pay more for face to face transactions but this was too much savings to pass up on. I also received the hitch and air bags a day sooner than expected which is a big plus. 10/10 would recommend.

2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Love the hitch. Works like a champ takes a while to install but not too bad. I was missing 2 lock nuts in mine but everything else was good.

The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1111 referenced in your question, which is confirmed to fit your 2013 Ford F-350, features brackets that mount to the outsides of the frame rails on the truck. • Gooseneck Trailer Not Turning as Much as Pickup While Backing Up
From what you are describing it sounds like you are used to towing a bumper pull trailer with your 2017 pickup. When towing with a gooseneck hitch like the B&W # BWGNRK1111 the turning point is located directly above your rear axle and not at the rear bumper so the trailer will maneuver differently. If you are trying to back up into a tight space the best course of action (if you have enough room) is to pull up in front of the parking spot in a way so that you just have to back straight...
