The combination of an e-coat base and a powder coat finish provides excellent rust protection.This a review of the hardware and installation instructions not the performance or use of this hitch. I was missing hardware (2- 9/16" Lock washers). Installation instructions are not accurate and missing a few steps. Having to trim the bumper should be on the product page. Needing a knife as required equipment should be added to the instructions as well. I also found there to be another bolt and nut in the second hole of the frame that needed to removed as well. Overall I like the hitch but the parts(QA) and lack of proper instructions leave something to be desired.

Got the hitch in one day (lucky enough to live near shipping point) and it fit just like it was suppose too. Would recommend getting help putting it on but a pair of jack stands work pretty good. Looks great on truck. Ready to go camping.
