Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the IP66 Single RV Switch Plate. This is going to replace the IP66/206 Series Switch Plate on your RV. It's also approved for exterior use, so whether your light switch is inside your RV or out, this faceplate is going to work perfectly. It is made of a durable plastic construction, and as you can see it is going to come in two different colors. We've got our black, and you can find that here at etrailer using the part number that you see on the screen there.
And we've also got our Polar White, again here at etrailer using the part number that you see on the bottom of your screen there. Both are going to be the exact same switch, just one is black and one is white, so they do have the same measurements. Overall, our height of our switch is going to be right at about 3 5/8. It's advertised as being 3 1/2", but when I measured it, it was just slightly over that, so I'm going to call it 3 5/8 tall. That's probably not going to matter to you, but just in case it does, I want to make sure that you have the correct information. And then our width, we're at 2 1/2" pretty much right on.
So, another measurement you might care about is the distance between your mounting holes there. It's right about 3" center to center. It's going to be an easy replacement; just take the old one off, put this one in its place, get your screws tightened down, and you're ready to go. This is made here in the USA, so that should give you a little bit more confidence that this is going to have the high quality standards that you would hope for in a replacement product. You can see the backside here where our light switch will fit in as we mount this up onto our wall. And that's pretty much all there is for this switch faceplate. My personal opinion, it is a plastic faceplate, so I don't know how long it will last, but I think most of them out there are the plastic, so I think this is going to be just as good as any others on the market.
I think this will meet your needs, help you to finish off that light switch again, and make everything look nice. You do have the two options there, so whichever goes better with your color scheme, that would be the option I would recommend. That's going to complete our look at the IP66 Single RV Switch Faceplate. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com, thanks for watching.
