Installation done in 3 hours from first opening the box and collecting tools to everything being put away. I would highly recommend
Installation was straight forward, but the pin hole was so skewed that the pin would not insert when a hitch was installed. I had to drill the hole out and now the pin fit is sloppy.
I also wish the receiver was tucked up higher. It scrapes on steep driveway approaches.
Bought and installed a year ago. A great addition to my car so I can attach my bike rack easily. Product was designed specifically for my car and had no problems with installation.
The EcoHitch of TorkLift fits perfectly on my Honda Clarity 2019 (see the picture). It leave the bottom of the car free clearance, just the 2 inch hitch housing sticks out. I recommend it strongly !

I have been using it for more tha a year. It a robust hitch and reliable. The only drawback, it has a loose fitting with my bike adaptor. i needed to had some fillers to avoid vibration while riding with the car.
Hitch installation went just as described in the video, no problems at all. Fabrication welds on the hitch are ok, room for improvement there.
This is a solidly built hitch, good welds and paint finish. It integrates excellent with the Clarity. Slides in between the factory aluminum rear bumper and the subframe. Instructions were good enough for me to follow, and it took me one hour to install. Basically peel off the rear bumper skin and remove tail lights, unbolt the rear bumper, and then reassemble with the hitch under the bumper using the provided longer bolts. Requires a simple 4”x4-1/2” cut on the rear bumper skin bottom, soft plastic that cuts easily with snips. The end result is great as well. Location and protrusion of the hitch is right where it should be. My only comment is that the hitch could be built to a lighter duty spec with the 1-1/4” opening instead. The 2” hitch size is overkill for the Clarity, and the structural sturdiness of the hitch supports the 2” design spec. Again, it’s solid, but for this car, a lighter duty version would be a better fit, it will never tow anything and is only for accessory bike racks and such. Lighter duty might allow the price to come down a bit too, which would also be nicer. Would buy again though!
Love this hitch… honda never designed one for the clarity and this is a perfect match! Thank you! It was easily installed by my husband and I (yes you need 2 people at 2/3 different points) and took relatively little time. Under 2 hours.

Installation a breeze, but take your time and don’t rush!
Great fit. Wondered why the instructions had me pull somme wires loose from the frame. Just move them aside so they don't get pinched later.
This hitch has worked great with my Honda Clarity. It's very discrete and most folks are surprised when they see my car with the bike rack. The instructions from etrailer would great too. The install was not a problem. This was my 4th hitch from etrailer and I'm still referring friends to etrailer.

Excellent. The EcoHitch was a bit more expensive but worth it for the recessed hitch.
Great directions and designed to fit. Did it myself in about an hour and a half. This is my third Ecohitch Hidden Hitch and they have all been great!
I am so impressed that someone makes a hitch receiver for my Honda Clarity. This has allowed me to carry my bicycles with ease. The install was somewhat labor intensive, but very doable for anyone willing to get their hands a little dirty. It took me (one 40 yo female) with no experience with mechanics to install and it works great! I used a dremel tool to make the cut out for the bottom fascia piece which worked great. So happy to have a hitch receiver on my little plug in hybrid!
I recently purchased a Honda clarity. I needed a 2" receiver and hitch for a bike carrier I have. I tried all of the usual avenues to determining if I could place a hitch on the car, but was not successful (U-Haul, etc.). I then tried an online search and was surprised to find E-Trailer had a custom hitch that was both reasonably priced and easy to install. i ordered it online, had it delivered within a few days of purchase, and then had it installed by the Honda people (wanted them to do it for convenience, etc.). It was a very simple process of bolting it onto the cross member of the rear bumper, and within about an hour, voila! I had the hitch placed exactly where I desired it to be, it looked great, and its durability is guaranteed by E-Trailer! Best decision I have made with this car!

It took 2 of us 3-4 hours to install the hitch and the new bike rack... overall, it wasn’t complicated, but a little nerve wracking on a new car (so a lot of checking and re-checking instructions), and we had to run to the hardware store to buy a torque wrench.
Also, you have to sort of pry off the bumper from the clips. Apparently there are tools for it, but we used an old plastic spatula knife that worked well (metal will scratch the bumper).
This was a great hitch for my Honda Clarity. There weren't many available for this newer make of car and it worked well. I use it for a bike rack and have taken bikes on it for a 3,000 mile camping trip,

This bike rack was ordered to install in hitch for an electric bike. Easy to remove for storage as it has wheels. Also has a ramp so I do not need to do any heavy lifting of this bike.

Great hitch great price took me about two hours to put it on by myself. Use the instructions that came with the hitch. Never installed one before. Suggest ordering f one of these Tresalto Auto Trim Removal Tool... Will help removing the number. They are only $[XX] on [online vendor].
Well made , easy to install. Challenging to deal with the bumper cover, but that’s not anything that can be changed. I believe that it is somewhat overpriced is my only concern. But, the price is the cheapest available at etrailer.com.
Just installed this hitch on my 2018 Honda Clarity. The included instructions were very detailed and had pictures of the exact vehicle. Everything was clearly laid out.
This is a more difficult installation due to having to remove the rear bumper and cut part of the bumper out to fit. As I said, the instructions were very clear with made it easy. The bumper comes off and on without damaging any of the clips and the part you need to cut out is on the very bottom of the bumper, where you cannot see it. So there is little to worry about cutting too much or not making neat cuts. I taped off the area I needed to cut and ran over it 10+ times with a sharp razor blade to make a clean cut all the way through the plastic.
Total install time was about 2 hours. The final product looks great!
