The lock can be keyed alike to match other Global Link locks.The lock and mechanism were great. It all fit perfectly to replace the locks I had. My wife said the new locks looked better than the originals. I agree, I like the gloss black finish. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 was because I couldn't use the rear plate. I used the new screws with the old black back plate I had. The new one wasn't good because the thickness along with the thickness of the door itself made it impossible to use without drilling new holes.
Easily replaced the old slam latches with these. Work just as they’re supposed to. Can be a little tricky to get the hook to enter the latch, but can be worked around.
Pulled out old latch’s and put in the new ones. Fit perfectly. Less than 5 minutes to change one out. Came all keyed alike to match rest of motorhome. Thanks e-trailer and a special thank you to Cloda.
I had to modify it with parts from the old one , it says that it’s a slam latch , not!!!. It slipped out of my hand and broke. I could not get the door open . Had to take it all apart
The latch product looks sturdy, but I couldn't install it because the back plates are not included and have to be purchased separately. It would be nice if there was some notice given to buyers so they have everything to install the product when received. Purchased four locks, but only received three sets of keys. Hopefully it will work well after the back plates are received next week.

I bought this just to replace the actual latch on my slam lock (that is painted to my rv). The video's gave an accurate description of the size and was the correct fit to my handle.
Great replacement latches !
I have had no issues with these door latches. I would recommend them to anyone. Somewhat easy to install. They are so much easier to unlock and lock up than the original new ones that came with the trailer.

Door latches still holding up however I had to tighten screws on one side three weeks ago because they became loose. I recommend keeping an eye on this after 6 months of use. Otherwise nice product!
Order was not correct. I assumed that it would fit my 2018 Solitude 344GK, but it did not. Therefore I will be sending it back for a replacement or refund.

It is a bummer that the lock is not a fit for you. I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you. This lock is meant to replace a Global Link, Fastec [FIC], Bauer, or Lippert Components standard baggage door lock.
These latches are a close, but not exact, replacement for my original Southco latches. I was able to install them with only slight difficulty due to their tight fit.
The latches were packaged loose in a box and had some minor cosmetic damage as a result. If they had been wrapped in paper the damage would have been avoided.
Great, heavy duty replacement latches. I would recommend. Brushed up the look of my MH too. Thanks etrailer.
I am so impressed with etrailer’s fulfillment staff. I ordered one of these matches to see how I’d like it. When I placed an order for the second latch a few weeks later I asked that it be keyed to the original locks code by providing the code from the original. And they did it!!!
I’m going to install the matches soon but really wanted to give credit for their great customer service.
Latches work great. One latch didn't have the screws and they offered to send me a whole new latch but I had some screws that worked. Very nice customer service.
I was happy with time frame of receiving product. Not at all happy with all the deep scratches on the product. It was packaged well so it came from e-trailer this way. When you have a coach worth several thousands of dollars you don’t appreciate them product looking like crap.

These are made with a rust-resistant black powder coat finish. You can cover the scratches with a rust-oleum type of paint. I have a link below for your reference.

This was an exact replacement for our original latch. Unfortunately,the original latch failed in the Locked position and we had to drill it out to remove it.

This one hasnt had any issues. Its exactly the same as the original, which failed after5 years in the locked position.

A quality piece but unfortunately not what I needed for my 2019 Keystone Cougar. Unwilling to cut the door to make it work so will have to go thru Keystone to get a lower grade part and probably pay more money.

Still in the box since it isn’t what I needed.
I ordered one lock with Keyed Alike Option, which was an additional fee. I provided the the lock number (G330) and the number on the back of my existing keys (G330). What arrived 2 May was a lock with G330 on the back, but the keys were numbered G349. The customer service agent I spoke with, Alison, claimed the keyed alike option was only if I was purchasing multiple locks at the same time, not to be compatible with my existing locks. I did not believe what she was saying and asked to speak with a supervisor. Alison said they would tell me the same thing. If this is an example of your customer service you should be embarrassed.
The solid slide in the latch was too short for my application. I called and was told that you only stock one so I was able to take it apart and switch them. I've got it down to a science now so it only takes me about 5 minutes per latch.
Husband dropped keys to our baggage doors while out deer hunting last fall. These Global Link RV Baggage slam latch with keys are just what we needed. We ordered and they arrived sooner than we expected. The locks fit our baggage doors and my husband says they will be fairly easy to install. Now all we need is for the have the husband keep keys safe while he is hunting.
Two of the locks had really bad gouges in the metal. They work...but not too good for esthetics. Also, the lock hardware to connect the locks was not sent and the 4 base plates that were supposed to work with the locks, did not suffice....they were too small and did not fit the application. Fortunately, I was able to use the old base plates and fasteners to finish the job. The keys were keyed alike as advertised, however.

Excellent. The locks have been installed for over a year now. They still look better than the original locks. As the other locks we have become corroded and pitted, I intend on replacing them all.
