Quickly and easily install a 7-way, RV-style trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom wiring harness. T-One connector plugs into OEM tow package wiring harness - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.

Features:

  • Provides a 7-way, blade-style trailer connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights
    • Designed for use with a factory tow package
    • Compatible with 4-pole, 5-pole, and 6-pole adapters (sold separately)
  • Connects quickly and easily - no cutting or splicing of wires
    • Locate connection points along frame rail
    • Plug in connectors
  • Constructed of 16-gauge bonded wire
  • 1-Year limited warranty

Installation

This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located beneath the vehicle, near the frame rail on the driver's side.

Once installation is complete, the 7-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (PK12711U-sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 7-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Very nice product well built. Could not use on my super duty because it was with 4 pole trailer hookup only. Be sure to look at connectors on frame to see if you have two of them. Mine only had the rectangle one. The etrailer website specifically says to look. I did not verify. Excellent tech info for each part, listen to it.

super fast shipping and high-quality wiring harness not to mention, or to mention... I ordered it on the phone and the rep was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products I needed and was thinking about buying at a later date.
will buy again...

The items I ordered were exactly what I wanted and were well represented in the photos. I was a little disappointed in that part of my order was available immediately while the other item could not be shipped for about three weeks. This was the manufacturer's fault and not that of etrailer. I would not hesitate to do business with etrailer in the future.

  • How to Install a Brake Controller in a 2012 Ford Van with a 4-Way Connector
We have what you would need, but there's no way to run a brake controller through a 4-way and you wouldn't be able to use the # 118261. Instead all you would need is the part # ETBC7. This comes with everything needed to convert the 4-way to a 7-way and wire in your brake controller. Check out the install video and instructions links I attached.

  • Brake Controller Not Getting Power on a 2010 Ford E350 Van
The first place that I recommend checking when you lose power to something would be your fuse box. A blown fuse can cause the power to not reach your brake controller. If your fuses look okay then it might be easier to find a wire that is connected to your battery and trace it back to your brake controller. If you can find the right wire this way, then you can check for any signs of corrosion, exposed, or damaged wiring. As for the connector in the picture that you sent, there are no...

  • Installing a 7-Way Trailer Connector on a 2013 Ford E-250 Van
I checked with Tow Ready about 7-Way connector # 118261 and it is not a confirmed fit for the 2013 Ford E-250 van. Since there are no other options and since you have some factory wiring already, I recommend using 4 and 7-Way connector # HM40975 with harness # PK11998. You will need to test the wiring on the vehicle end with a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 to determine the functions. Then you can install the harness accordingly: Red - Left Turn and Stop White - Ground Blue - Electric...

  • 7-Way Trailer Connector for 2013 Ford E250 Van
As we mention in our fit guide, not all models of the 2012 Ford E series vans have both the 16 and the 4 pin plugs. If your van doesn't have the 4 pin plug, you'll need to use the # 118551 4 pole harness instead of the # 118261. Since your van wasn't equipped with the factory trailer connector, it won't be completely prewired for a 7-way. How you proceed at this point will depend on whether the trailer you're wanting to tow has electric brakes or not. If the trailer doesn't have electric...

  • Parts Needed to Add 7-Way Connection to 2011 Thor Majestic 23A on Ford E-350 Chassis
Wiring for your 2011 Thor Majestic 23A on Ford E-350 Chassis will depend on whether or not you have the factory tow package/ports, which it sounds like you do. For a 7-way you would need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118261. See the attached picture which shows what the connections look like. If you do not have the port for this and don't have the factory tow package then you would need to first install the # 118551 for a 4-way. Once...

  • Adding Trailer Wiring to a 2009 Ford Full Size E-Series Van
The 2 connectors for wiring harness # 118261 for a 2009 Ford Van are located in the same general area. Where you found the rectangle connector is the same area the more round connector will be in if the vehicle is so equipped. I have linked the installation instructions for you. The rectangle harness does not appear to have all of the functions for a 7-Way so you would need both connectors for all functions. This harness was made for the vehicle if it originally came with a factory 7-Way...

  • 7-Way Recommendation for a 2009 Ford E-350 Van
The connectors that the # 118261 is designed to fit should look like the picture that I attached. It is possible that you haven't found the correct harnesses on your 2009 Ford E-350 Van. The correct harness will be under the rear of the van inside the driver's side frame rail. See attached pic. I attached a link to our returns policy page as well.

  • Adding 7-Way and Brake Controller to 2012 Ford E-Series Van with Factory Wiring and No Tow Package
If your 2012 Ford Van has the proper connectors at the back where the harness you found terminates then you could use # 118261 to add a 7-Way. Or you could use # HM40975 and hardwire it to the wires you found using # PK11998. For a brake controller if the connector under the dash is active you would use wiring harness # 3034-P. I recommend the P2 brake controller # 90885. This controller is easy to set up and use and it is reliable. I have linked an installation video that should help.

  • Factory Brake Controller Installation Plug on a 2009 Ford E-250 Van
The connection point on the 2009 Ford E-250 is not exactly located under the dash. It is behind the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle. You have to remove an access panel to get to it per the isntructions, linked for reference. What the instructions do not tell you is that you may have to fish around to find the connector. It could be hiding behind another connector or taped to another harness. The blue wire for brake output does not run all the way to the back of the van. It will...

  • Recommended Brake Controller and 4/7-Way Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2012 Ford E-350
Yes, there is a brake controller port on most 2012 Ford E-350's. If you take a look under the driver dash up by the emergency brake pedal you should see a four pin plug which is used for this purpose. I recommend the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160 with the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3034-P. The Tekonsha Primus IQ is a great all around brake controller that has most of the same features as other top tier options like...

  • Gooseneck Fifth Wheel 7-Way Wiring Recommendation for a 2010 Ford F-150
It sounds like you are looking for a 7-way harness you can install in the bed of your 2010 Ford F150 for a gooseneck or fifth wheel trailer. Instead of the # 118261 you would want the part # 41157 as this is confirmed to fit your vehicle and will allow you to install a 7-way in the bed of your truck.

  • Recommended Sway Control for a Trailer With a Small tongue Pulled by a 2010 Ford E-350 Super Duty
The best way to keep your towing setup level and to prevent sway would be to use a weight distribution system, but if your trailer tongue space is limited then a weight distribution system might not be the best option for you. You might be able to use a weight distribution system that uses the chains, like the Reese Strait-Line # RP66084, along with some chain hangers, part # RP58305, which will allow you to install this system on the side of your trailer tongue. Please keep in mind that...
