Hitch-mounted residential plow has shock-absorbing springs and a steel-edge blade to easily clear driveways and parking lots. 3-Position blade pushes snow straight ahead, right, or left. Wireless remote lets you raise or lower plow from your cab.

The Detail K2 snowplow conveniently slides into your vehicle's front-mounted trailer hitch for fast, simple mounting. Easily raise and lower the plow from the comfort of your cab with the remote-controlled electric winch. The pivoting blade makes this plow ideal for rocky or uneven surfaces because it can adjust to the terrain.
This hitch-mounted snowplow simply slides into your vehicle's front trailer hitch receiver, making it a breeze to install. A plow that attaches to custom-fit brackets ties you down to just 1 vehicle. But this hitch-mounted plow can be used on most trucks or SUVs with a 2" x 2" front-mounted hitch. As a result, this plow can be easily switched between multiple vehicles. And because it offers a nearly universal fit, you won't have to buy a new plow when you replace your old vehicle.
To install the snowplow, just slide the shank of the plow assembly into your 2" trailer hitch receiver (sold separately). Then use a pin and clip or a hitch lock (sold separately) to secure the plow in the receiver.
The snowplow comes with flip-down caster wheels that make the installation process even easier on you. Simply flip the wheels into position and you will be able to roll the plow into position for mounting or storage. The height of the wheels can also be adjusted to match the height of your vehicle.
Once the plow is mounted on your vehicle, lower the blade and set it to the desired angle. To set the angle, exit the vehicle and manually position the plow straight ahead, to the left, or to the right. Angling the blade allows you to push snow off to the side where you want it without having to change the angle of your entire vehicle. This is especially useful on a driveway or a private roadway where piling the snow straight ahead would create a barrier.
The plow comes with a wireless remote that allows you to stay warm and out of the elements while still effectively controlling the plow. The remote operates on a 2.4 GHz frequency, allowing it to quickly send signals to the winch without experiencing delays. And because it's wireless, you won't have to run wires through your dash. Nor will you have to leave your window cracked open in the middle of a snow storm just so that you can run a wired remote into your cab. You will be glad to have it on those cold winter days.
To begin plowing, just drive forward. When backing up to take another pass, be sure to lift the plow with the remote, then lower it again before moving forward. When approaching a large pile of snow, be sure to decrease your speed. Slamming into a pile of snow can void the warranty on the snowplow.
When you are finished, put your vehicle in park and lower the plow. Remove the plow from your vehicle after every use.
The electric winch on this plow allows you to easily lift and lower the blade using the wireless remote control. If you prefer, you can also install the included in-cab toggle switch to control the plow. The winch uses a durable strap, which is much quieter than a chain, to raise and lower the plow.
The snowplow features skid shoes that allow you to adjust the height of your plow. This allows you to efficiently plow over surfaces that are uneven, such as gravel roads.
Blade stiffeners, or blade support brackets, reinforce the connection between the plow and your vehicle. They add 2 additional points of contact with your hitch on either side of the plow's T-frame. This prevents stress on the frame and on your vehicle, while also strengthening the performance of the plow.
Shock-absorbing springs allow the plow to dip forward in the event that you hit an obstruction. This flexibility protects you and your vehicle from impacts.
Easily attach a variety of accessories to the front of your vehicle with this fully welded, corrosion-resistant trailer hitch receiver. Perfect for winches, spare tire carriers and more.

Perfect for winches, spare tire carriers and more.Great easy plow to use. The hardware that came in was missing a couple nuts and bolts. Had to run to the hardware store a couple times to get the proper bolts and nuts. The plow doesn't come assembled. So expect a good evening to build this unit. First two years was great and the scraping was good. Back dragging slacks but again a lot of plows do that. So it's not terrible but does enough. Just leaves 1/4 of snow behind. But pushing snow forward works and scrapes nice on asphalt or concrete. The battery that came with the kit for the wireless controller didn't last 1 month. So be prepared to upgrade that. But it's been now on my 3rd year, one of the springs failed on it and currently searching for the replacement. The plow itself has a one year warranty so of course it's past due now. Overall it works and it's nice. Wish I had bought the power left and right but the manual lever works too. Also the side markers prematurely failed too so I had to buy meyer yellow ones from fleet farm. Cost another $xx. But I will update this as time goes.
It has been working very well as we have actually had a decent amount of snow so far this year. took a little longer than I thought it would to assemble and mount it but after it was on it works great and looks good.
The DK2 plow and hitch are awesome! As always, the communication from Etrailer from order to delivery is top-notch. Assembling the plow and mounting the hitch was easy. Took about 4 hours with me enjoying a few beers and taking my time one evening after work. Took on wiring the next day. I like a clean finish, so this part took me about 2 hours. I placed the control module on the fuse block as suggested (etrailer's videos are a BIG help). I placed the remote transmitter on the drivers side. I ran the plow lead down to the hitch from inside the vehicle. There is just enough wiring supplied and this allows me to tuck the connector inside the hitch when not in use. A hitch cover protects it from the elements. First use was 30" of snowfall! I plowed for about 3 hours straight. The engine compartment did get warm which made the control wiring warm and pliable; so the connector came out of the control module mid way through plowing. I used some dielectric grease and it stayed connected the remainder of my plowing. It takes some practice to hitch up to the plow easily. This set up took a beating first time out. Sure glad I ordered it!!
What can I say that you haven't already heard? etrailer.com made this such a painless and straight forward process for selecting the front hitch for my 2015 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited that I can't believe I didn't do it sooner.
The Curt front hitch for my jeep arrived quickly and in great shape, very well packed. On unpacking I found my hardware and instruction firmly secured to it so it didn't get mixed up with my rear hitch, good forward thinking.
The hitch is robustly built and you can see the care that goes into the quality, all the welds are neat and tidy and the finish is excellent. The hardware is all coated for long lasting performance and the fish wire is beyond handy.
For the installation of the front hitch the instructions are a little lacking. This is not to say bad or confusing, just lacking a little more how to. The etrailer video on installing it made the process go smooth and easy. On my Rubicon model you do have to fight with the sway bar motor on the passenger side and the vacuum unit on the driver side, it is a pain but if you take the top frame trim off it is much easier to work. The bolt hole on the drivers side, pass a drill through it to make sure the ft is right because its very tight to work in that area and close won't work. Other than that, it installs exactly like the video. The only thing that would complete the package would be a template for clipping the front plastic shield, the Curt instructions include a sketch that gives you an idea but a simple temporary adhesive template would make it super simple to drill the corners out and then connect the dots with a tool of choice. But hey, that's just me.
The hitch tucks up real nice and doesn't kill approach angle or ground clearance which is great for my application as its for carrying a winch when I need it. I would recommend etrailer.com without hesitation and strongly urge the Curt line of products based on what I've seen so far.
As always, good quality and price. Service is Good and shipping is fast.
It was a great price to solve my problem of how to take my bike camping when I’m pulling my teardrop trailer.
Installation wasn’t that difficult with the exception of the top bolt on the drivers side. The brake booster pump was in the way. Keep trying and you’ll get it in eventually. It took me about an hour to install.
Fit like a glove and installation was quick and smooth. Delivery was well within reason considering item not in stock. Extremely pleased with etrailer.com and staff kept me informed on shipping.
Overall, I was satisfied. Instructions could be more complete, and it was missing a few bolts and nuts. But Looks like a solid plow for the application I need.
Fast shipping! Fits 2013 jk perfectly. As the video states you need to enlarge the hole on the left side. Bought this for the snowbear 84” plow setup.
The plow works very well. It's not real heavy duty but it has been adequate so far. It went together quite easily and is fairly light and maneuverable when I take it off for the summer. I am glad it has the extra turnbuckle braces beside the receiver to stiffen it up. I almost wish I had gotten a wider plow. When I have it set for straight forward it is good but when I have it angled it is a bit narrow for my Suburban. One minor problem I had was when I hit a hard object and the plow snapped forward and down both of the little red plastic end markers that stick up broke off. Long exposure must weaken the plastic.
Perfect fit .fast shipping
Great product. Fits nice, looks great.

Bill are these images?.. Or have the images been assign to your post?.. reason Im asking is that it appears that you did a great job cutting away the lower air dam for the hitch receiver.. very professional. Do you have a template for this alteration?
The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch 31432 for the Jeep Wrangler is well designed and built. It has excellent fit so no shims or spacers are needed. Your videos and customer comments were very helpful. The problem that others encountered with short bolts seems to be fixed now. Instead of 2 short and 2 long hex head bolts shown in one of the photos, they now provide four "2.25 inch" bolts which are really about 2.125" which makes the lower driver side bolt marginal. Good practice calls for at least 1 thread to extend beyond the nut, but the lower bolt feels (I can't see it) to be approxemately flush which should be good enough.
The hitch was exactly as advertised. Installation instructions were complete.

One year later and its still working great!
Well worth the money! No longer having to worry about someone else coming to plow is a God send!!!
Good for the price, really needs to be able to be able to angle from the cab of the truck. (deluxe model.)
I love having this plow easy to install, easy to attach and remove on my 2 door Jeep Wrangler. I would recommend it to everyone looking for a plow.
Front reciever 2007 Rubicon The front hitch reciever is for 2007 and on Jeep wrangler but I have a Rubicon. ALMOST the same but there is the small problem of the swaybar disconect. Probably a 10 minute job on a wrangler but on the Rubicon it took an hour squeezing my hands arount the swaybar disconect. Fits and looks great, I highly recomend this item.

on a rubicon remove the sway bar and disconnect as a unit , takes maybe 10 min so you can acess the hitch location.
Difficult to put together - manufacturing quality is terrible - holes drilled off of center, causing plenty of work-arounds. In the end, it was a small plow with a complicated and messy assembly instruction. I resold it for $100 to get rid of the eye-sore. I don't recommend this at all.
We bought this hitch to use a floating snow plow on the front. It's works just like it should.we took our bumper off to put a new aftermarket bumper on which made installation easier. With an aftermarket bumper we did have to trim a part in the middle of the bumper for the hitch to fit but if you have a stock bumper it will fit perfect.
Works great even better than the old fisher plow even though this one swings manually, the blade goes much higher when pushing up banks of snow.
Found a front receiver hitch for my 2011 Jeep Wrangler at a reasonable price. Arrived quickly, had the local garage install for me. We tow a 1960 Nomad trailer with this vehicle and plan to add a bike rack to the front.
I have a '13 Wrangler Unlimited. The hitch is solid and the holes in it do line up with the holes in the front bumper. Maybe it's just me, but 45 minutes is an extremely optimistic prediction of how long the installation takes. I ended up having to drill one hole in the bumper support (as suggested) figure out ways to actually get the nuts and washers in such tight quarters. I'm glad it's installed now and looks great. I think a detailed video or an alternate method of attachment would be helpful, for my model at least.
Excellent merchandise as always. Great company to deal with and fast shipping. I would highly recommend etrailer.com to my friends!
