Detail K2 Snowplow for 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport
Question:
I am looking at k2 avalanche front hitch mount plow for my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 sport it says it doesn’t fit the sport is that due to the bumper and could I just trim it to fit thanks

All snowplow kits offered for the 2001 Dodge Ram 1500, shown on the linked page, exclude the Sport version from their fits. My technical contact at K2 advised that instead of a front-mount hitch you CAN use their Custom Mounting Bracket kit # K284309. This has no known compatibility issues with the Ram Sport according to my contact. With it you can use a plow like # K2RAMP8219.
