Trailer Brake Controller Specs:
Features:
Mount the control knob of this proportional brake controller on your dash for a factory look, and install the main unit out of sight behind the dash with the included wiring harness. Control your braking power with the turn of a dial.
Installation Notes:
Vehicles with the 7-Way tow package have the blue output brake wire already ran from the back to the front. It is located under the dash near the emergency brake pedal.
If your vehicle has a round plug with a cap inside the driver's side frame rail instead of a bundle of wires in the jack storage compartment, use part # 30955.
Some models will require a wiring kit to run wire to the battery. This may require drilling a hole in the firewall to run the wire. You may use kit 5506 which includes 20, 30, and 40 amp breakers.
