I use these on a 2001 Yukon for towing a camping trailer. The fit is so tight it is extremely difficult to install them. I let them warm up in the sun for a while first, that helps a little. Once installed they work as expected. (Taking them off is easy.)

Recent install of Invisibrake into 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation trim level.
Attached photos. Unit is under the driver side back seat. I made a wood mount from plywood. Ram is under the foot restinch to the left of the brake pedal. The cable makes a big loop under the carpet circling back to the brake pedal. This makes a nice neat install with everything out of the way.

On my older trailer I couldn't find a replacement interior lamp. But, did purchase clearance and an outdoor light. In addition I purchased a spare tire with rim, hard to find sink repair, and some smaller items.
I am very pleased with all these products: price, quality, and service. The proof that I'm pleased with etrailer is that just this week I have made additional purchases. Return customers the crown of a good business.

Odelia did a GREAT job with helping me as I have never done a electronic break system before... I had NO clue what I was getting myself into. 3 hours after I received the parts the owner picked it up and he had breaks. Mind you I have about 10 to 14 hours into the job. I needed to do it correctly and made sure everything was spotless clean. Every nut was torqued and everything was adjusted to perfection. I run a shop that has 30 to 60 people and I wish Odelia was part of our staff. Odelia was very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the product. Please tell Odelia I appreciate on how much she helped a new customer as she was outstanding!!! Parts had GREAT packaging no damage.

So the products are exactly as described - high quality. What I really want to review is the customer service I received from Etrailer.
I'm somewhat of a pessimist and believe service has gone downhill with online ordering for the past two decades. That said, when UPS messed up my delivery, etrailer's customer service picked up the ball and addressed every single issue. Even though this was not their fault, Teresa J helped with getting a new hitch ordered immediately, followed up with phone calls and emails, and made sure everything was taken care of.
I am a life-long customer now. Thanks, Teresa - your customer service is second to none!

After a careful review of all the flat towing options available for the 2020 Jeep Gladiator I chose the Demco Excalibar II and tab less baseplate. The engineering and build quality are superb and they have a few features that just aren't available on other tow bars - with the limited life time warranty being a huge benefit. The advantages of ordering from etrailer are not only competitive pricing but amazing in-stock inventory. But the biggest advantage they have is the level of expertise available from their "how to" video library and the towing/RVing gurus available by phone. I have yet to be disappointed.

worst purchase i've made from etrailer. assembly is a nightmare. The 2 dozen bolts ,nuts and washers are made of cheap metal and strip with the slightest torque.
Most holes on frame do not line up and are off center. I would return, but to disassemble with stripped bolt heads and repagage is not an option. Payed for expedited shipping . My loss. Leaving on cross-country road trip in a week and need to find an alternative to this POS. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED to say the least. Avoid at any cost!

I build custom trailers. I have been doing so for 50+ years. etrailer has consistently been the second cheapest supplier of axles, springs, hangers, hubs, and etc. that we have been able to locate. When you see the difference in quality that etrailer has you'll be buying the second cheapest too! These guys only offer one kind of quality - the EXCELLENT kind. Of the 8 or so trailers that I have in the road 24/7; 100% of them were made from etrailer components! Highly recommended!

This is more of an etrailer review.
I was looking for a replacement of a wraparound taillight for my 1999 Jayco Eagle pop up trailer. From the advice received through your site, I found that not only had that taillight been discontinued, its replacement was discontinued as well and the product I purchased was the best available option.
This alone helped me to end my seemingly endless search for a solution and while I could acquire this cheaper in Canada, I decided to buy through etrailer given they had given me options from past comments and saved me work. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of ordering and the speed of delivery as I now have both taillight replacements less than a week after ordering - even given a border to cross.
This is excellent and I think pretty rare customer service. I'll be back if I need anything further.

This is the second time I've gotten parts from etrailer. This time was a fender for our boat trailer. The new trailer was far better built thank what it replaced. The construction very impressive.
Having said that about the product I would like to review the entire experience with etrailer. Their website was very user friendly allowing me to locate and order the proper size fender. It shipped within 24 hours and was delivered in perfect condition 48 hours later. I received emails with contact information in case I had any problems..

This is definitely Top Notch, five star service all the way. Not only did I call for information and got very concise and intelligent response on the other end , I got also got pleasant and swift problem solving. Then they followed up with an email link for convenience with the correct part number. You'd think they were the concierge at a five-star hotel. Imagine 10 stars above as a rating. I've bought items through this company for several years. While you might find some products for a couple bucks less elsewhere, their prices are always very competitive but more importantly, etrailer actually brings memories of companies of the past that were known for their customer service. But far beyond simply dealing with issues after delivery, they go beyond with assistance before buying. And their instruction videos are fantastic and extremely helpful. That leaves customers informed, supported and the finally able to buy products at fair prices. Simply the best company to buy from. As for this trailer wiring harness, it's the 6th one I've bought for five different vehicles. The etrailer video really helps with installation and the product works perfectly. Now if I could only stop leasing vehicles and then returning them with the wiring harness attached!

The hitch is high quality! This is the 4th hitch I have purchased from etrailer. I will always purchase my hitches, wiring and other accessories from etrailer! They have wonderful support. This is a nice, sturdy product. I initially had a fitment issue, but e-mailed etrailer (on a holiday weekend) and got a response and a link to help remedy my problem, which I did without any hiccups. It really speaks of etrailer's customer service when they are willing to help solve my (Joe Internet User's) problem on a weekend. Did I mention, a holiday weekend at that? Most brick and mortars don't offer that kind of support anymore. Anyway... Great product, great company.

I could not have expected such a fantastic experience buying a hitch. installing the hitch was a breeze after viewing the video that etrailer.com posted on its site. I found it amazing that they had a video specific to my make/model vehicle. I had a few questions about my order before I installed it and found the customer service to be as good as all of the ones reported to be the best, such as Zappos.com & LL Bean. I almost found myself wondering what else I might need from etrailer.com because of how great an experience it was. I still cannot believe how easy it was to install the hitch. I bought this hitch based on reviews and price. I was pleased upon inspecting the product and instructions. I bought a 5th wheel camper and traveled from North Carolina to New York without a "hitch". My first time towing a 5th wheel and once I got over my jitters, I drove like the trailer wasn't there.
The installation kit was installed by my mechanic. I felt better traveling, knowing it was installed correctly.

Very impressed!! My total cost was 1/2 of what I thought I was going to spend. The extra mile the staff has gone in assistance and information was extraordinary. I am very pleased with everything I got and am in the process of putting everything back on the trailer.
The trailer is a 20ft flatbed w/ a 2ft dove tail, 12k gross. I've had this for 25 yrs and this trailer is used for everything--including 5 moves across the US while in the service.

I've had this roof rack for one year (2018 Honda Fit). I really love it. I drove literally across the country with my little car and back (over 5000 miles), so much tied on to it, it's what I needed. But equally wonderful is the customer service. I could not figure out how to get it on my car (I'm not a handy person), and the man on the phone talked me through every step and sent screen shots to my cell phone to help. I could not believe the customer service. I love my roof rack. I can't believe anyone would pay top dollar anywhere else when you can get this one, looks awesome, performs perfectly.

I can not be more satisfied with my experience with etrailer. I'm in the military stationed in Italy, and it can be difficult to get stuff delivered my FPO/APO address. I’ve arrived at a point where I visit the etrailer website first to obtain detailed information on the products I’m interested in. I then do some comparison shopping to verify Quality, Pricing and Availability.
The pricing is always competitive, but their service levels are extraordinary. The communications are excellent, and the follow-up (during ordering, after ordering, and after delivery) is top notch. I’ve ordered several times now from etrailer, and most the time they have the products in inventory ready for rapid delivery. On the occasions I’ve ordered a non-stocked product, I’ve received the products before the indicated times. An example is three different locking hitch pins all Keyed Alike so (1) key would work for all three locks. Their service levels have kept me as a dedicated returning customer.

I had a problem with the function of the first product I ordered. I contacted this company and received an immediate replacement. I then realized that this particular model was not good for me. Not only did they send me the replacement that I requested, but they credited my account for the first product. After much research and deciding which tow bar to go with as this will be my 1st flat tow experience I went with the Nighthawk RM-676. I ordered on a Monday and received on Wednesday. I'm glad I went with the Nighthawk due to the weight and ease of use. I have not had a chance to use yet but will follow up after I get everything else ordered and hooked up. There was a gouge out of the vinyl coating on one of the safety cables and I contacted etrailer and they said they will be sending out a replacement. I like dealing with etrailer as their customer service is the best.

After an awfull experience with a major supplier of hitches which also does moving were they ordered the wrong hitch for my car; I turned to etrailer and they were just handholding incredible. Not only did they find the right hitch that fitted my car perfectly, but delivery was right on the money and tech support just incredible. This company, etrailer.com, is unbelievable. In a time when getting any information from any company is so difficult, these guys stepped right up to the plate.
It wasn't tough for me to figure out which Equil-i-zer I needed, but it setting it up, even with the available videos, I had questions. They answered the phone right away, had the answers I needed to confirm a correct installation, and all was well. Great product with great support.
While my trailer was in storage, my spring bars were stolen. This order was for the bars, but the hitch is unbelievable. Excellent products.

I was searching high and low for a broken replacement hub, bearings, grease seals for an old "built by a farmer 40 years ago" trailer. (March 2018). This is more of a review of the service rec'vd by etrailer.com rather than on the products themselves; I just rec'vd the shipment and have not had a chance to use them yet - its still winter here and the camper is still under snow. But, the service is exceptionally good and worth noting. Many retailers won't ship to Alaska for some unknown reasons. They don't know that Anchorage is the fourth largest cargo hub in the western hemisphere and generally, when we do order items we get them well before the shipper tells us we will. Why? Note mention of hub earlier. Dah. I order items in the winter months well ahead of summer so that I have them when I need them. The items sit in my garage patiently waiting for me to use them. etrailer.com has very good customer service. Far better than [other online retailers]. I have placed orders with etrailer.com and if it can't be filled or they need additional info, they call me! What? Call me? You betcha. Excellent and very much appreciated. When I do rec'v them, the items are all well packed and after delivery, they send a follow up message. So, yes, I will continue to order from these folks.

I went to two of the three auto parts stores in our little town thinking that a plain brake hose could be had. Turns out that brake hoses these days are all model specific and the clerks politely refused to help me without a part or model #. So I searched the internet and finally found exactly what I wanted here at etrailer. Not only that but the price was very fair and shipping cost was surprisingly low. Delivery was prompt and the after sale follow up from the folks at etrailer gives me chuckle...I ain't never seen this kind of "takin' care of business" for a little $26 order like mine was. I use these on a 2001 Yukon for towing a camping trailer. The fit is so tight it is extremely difficult to install them. I let them warm up in the sun for a while first, that helps a little. Once installed they work as expected. (Taking them off is easy.)

Recent install of Invisibrake into 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation trim level. Attached photos. Unit is under the driver side back seat. I made a wood mount from plywood. Ram is under the foot restinch to the left of the brake pedal. The cable makes a big loop under the carpet circling back to the brake pedal. This makes a nice neat install with everything out of the way.

On my older trailer I couldn't find a replacement interior lamp. But, did purchase clearance and an outdoor light. Odelia did a GREAT job with helping me as I have never done a electronic break system before... I had NO clue what I was getting myself into. 3 hours after I received the parts the owner picked it up and he had breaks. Mind you I have about 10 to 14 hours into the job. I needed to do it correctly and made sure everything was spotless clean. Every nut was torqued and everything was adjusted to perfection. I run a shop that has 30 to 60 people and I wish Odelia was part of our staff. Odelia was very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the product. Please tell Odelia I appreciate on how much she helped a new customer as she was outstanding!!! Parts had GREAT packaging no damage.

So the products are exactly as described - high quality. What I really want to review is the customer service I received from Etrailer. I'm somewhat of a pessimist and believe service has gone downhill with online ordering for the past two decades. That said, when UPS messed up my delivery, etrailer's customer service picked up the ball and addressed every single issue. Even though this was not their fault, Teresa J helped with getting a new hitch ordered immediately, followed up with phone calls and emails, and made sure everything was taken care of. After a careful review of all the flat towing options available for the 2020 Jeep Gladiator I chose the Demco Excalibar II and tab less baseplate. The engineering and build quality are superb and they have a few features that just aren't available on other tow bars - with the limited life time warranty being a huge benefit. The advantages of ordering from etrailer are not only competitive pricing but amazing in-stock inventory. But the biggest advantage they have is the level of expertise available from their "how to" video library and the towing/RVing gurus available by phone. I have yet to be disappointed.

worst purchase i've made from etrailer. assembly is a nightmare. The 2 dozen bolts ,nuts and washers are made of cheap metal and strip with the slightest torque. Most holes on frame do not line up and are off center. I would return, but to disassemble with stripped bolt heads and repagage is not an option. Payed for expedited shipping . My loss. Leaving on cross-country road trip in a week and need to find an alternative to this POS. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED to say the least. Avoid at any cost!

I build custom trailers. I have been doing so for 50+ years. etrailer has consistently been the second cheapest supplier of axles, springs, hangers, hubs, and etc. that we have been able to locate. When you see the difference in quality that etrailer has you'll be buying the second cheapest too! These guys only offer one kind of quality - the EXCELLENT kind. Of the 8 or so trailers that I have in the road 24/7; 100% of them were made from etrailer components! Highly recommended!

This is more of an etrailer review. I was looking for a replacement of a wraparound taillight for my 1999 Jayco Eagle pop up trailer. From the advice received through your site, I found that not only had that taillight been discontinued, its replacement was discontinued as well and the product I purchased was the best available option. This alone helped me to end my seemingly endless search for a solution and while I could acquire this cheaper in Canada, I decided to buy through etrailer given they had given me options from past comments and saved me work. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of ordering and the speed of delivery as I now have both taillight replacements less than a week after ordering - even given a border to cross. This is excellent and I think pretty rare customer service. I'll be back if I need anything further.

This is the second time I've gotten parts from etrailer. This time was a fender for our boat trailer. The new trailer was far better built thank what it replaced. The construction very impressive. Imagine 10 stars above as a rating. I've bought items through this company for several years. While you might find some products for a couple bucks less elsewhere, their prices are always very competitive but more importantly, etrailer actually brings memories of companies of the past that were known for their customer service. But far beyond simply dealing with issues after delivery, they go beyond with assistance before buying. And their instruction videos are fantastic and extremely helpful. That leaves customers informed, supported and the finally able to buy products at fair prices. Simply the best company to buy from. As for this trailer wiring harness, it's the 6th one I've bought for five different vehicles. The etrailer video really helps with installation and the product works perfectly. Now if I could only stop leasing vehicles and then returning them with the wiring harness attached!

This is a nice, sturdy product. I initially had a fitment issue, but e-mailed etrailer (on a holiday weekend) and got a response and a link to help remedy my problem, which I did without any hiccups. It really speaks of etrailer's customer service when they are willing to help solve my (Joe Internet User's) problem on a weekend. Did I mention, a holiday weekend at that? Most brick and mortars don't offer that kind of support anymore. Anyway... Great product, great company.

I could not have expected such a fantastic experience buying a hitch. installing the hitch was a breeze after viewing the video that etrailer.com posted on its site. I found it amazing that they had a video specific to my make/model vehicle. I had a few questions about my order before I installed it and found the customer service to be as good as all of the ones reported to be the best, such as Zappos.com & LL Bean. I bought this hitch based on reviews and price. I was pleased upon inspecting the product and instructions. I bought a 5th wheel camper and traveled from North Carolina to New York without a "hitch". My first time towing a 5th wheel and once I got over my jitters, I drove like the trailer wasn't there. The installation kit was installed by my mechanic. Very impressed!! My total cost was 1/2 of what I thought I was going to spend. The extra mile the staff has gone in assistance and information was extraordinary. I am very pleased with everything I got and am in the process of putting everything back on the trailer. The trailer is a 20ft flatbed w/ a 2ft dove tail, 12k gross. I've had this roof rack for one year (2018 Honda Fit). I really love it. I drove literally across the country with my little car and back (over 5000 miles), so much tied on to it, it's what I needed. But equally wonderful is the customer service. I could not figure out how to get it on my car (I'm not a handy person), and the man on the phone talked me through every step and sent screen shots to my cell phone to help. I could not believe the customer service. I love my roof rack. I can't believe anyone would pay top dollar anywhere else when you can get this one, looks awesome, performs perfectly.

I can not be more satisfied with my experience with etrailer. I'm in the military stationed in Italy, and it can be difficult to get stuff delivered my FPO/APO address. Not only does etrailer deliver to FPO/APO without a hassle, but I received my rack system in less than a week! Because I'm overseas, my credit card was getting flagged; Lisa at customer service cleared it up immediately and got my order shipped the same day. Five stars; etrailer has my highest recommendation.

Working on 1982 tandem axle boat trailer replacing all lights to led. etrailer is the only one I found online that gave the dimensions of their lights & as a plus videos of them. Super store they are on top of everything makes all other competitors look stupid . I’ve arrived at a point where I visit the etrailer website first to obtain detailed information on the products I’m interested in. I then do some comparison shopping to verify Quality, Pricing and Availability. The pricing is always competitive, but their service levels are extraordinary. The communications are excellent, and the follow-up (during ordering, after ordering, and after delivery) is top notch. I’ve ordered several times now from etrailer, and most the time they have the products in inventory ready for rapid delivery. On the occasions I’ve ordered a non-stocked product, I’ve received the products before the indicated times. An example is three different locking hitch pins all Keyed Alike so (1) key would work for all three locks. Their service levels have kept me as a dedicated returning customer. Thanks for all you do.

etrailer is one of the clearest, best-designed websites I have seen for any product. There are so many trailer hitches and bike racks on the market, and etrailers' ratings and search feature enabled me to home in on exactly the ones to buy. They shipped their product immediately, and kept me informed about its delivery. I installed the hitch this morning, put the rack on it, and I am ready for vacation. I was initially concerned about finding the right parts as the trailer was fairly old. etrailer had just what I needed. The website is so elegant. I was able to find the right parts quickly and with comparative options to make a final selection. The how-to videos are great. This made installation a little more comfortable. I had a problem with the function of the first product I ordered. I contacted this company and received an immediate replacement. I then realized that this particular model was not good for me. Not only did they send me the replacement that I requested, but they credited my account for the first product. I don’t think I’ve ever dealt with a company that has been so responsive and their customer service as this company has been. I would highly recommend them to anyone, And I will never use another company for my trailer needs. Their customer service is outstanding.

After much research and deciding which tow bar to go with as this will be my 1st flat tow experience I went with the Nighthawk RM-676. I ordered on a Monday and received on Wednesday. I'm glad I went with the Nighthawk due to the weight and ease of use. I have not had a chance to use yet but will follow up after I get everything else ordered and hooked up. There was a gouge out of the vinyl coating on one of the safety cables and I contacted etrailer and they said they will be sending out a replacement. I like dealing with etrailer as their customer service is the best.

After an awfull experience with a major supplier of hitches which also does moving were they ordered the wrong hitch for my car; I turned to etrailer and they were just handholding incredible. Not only did they find the right hitch that fitted my car perfectly, but delivery was right on the money and tech support just incredible. This company, etrailer.com, is unbelievable. In a time when getting any information from any company is so difficult, these guys stepped right up to the plate. It wasn't tough for me to figure out which Equil-i-zer I needed, but it setting it up, even with the available videos, I had questions. They answered the phone right away, had the answers I needed to confirm a correct installation, and all was well. Great product with great support. While my trailer was in storage, my spring bars were stolen. This order was for the bars, but the hitch is unbelievable. Excellent products. I would recommend this company with all 5 stars!! I was searching high and low for a broken replacement hub, bearings, grease seals for an old "built by a farmer 40 years ago" trailer. The sales rep at etrailer helped me identify the proper hub, bearings, grease seals, etc (and this was after speaking to several other dismissive suppliers). (March 2018). This is more of a review of the service rec'vd by etrailer.com rather than on the products themselves; I just rec'vd the shipment and have not had a chance to use them yet - its still winter here and the camper is still under snow. But, the service is exceptionally good and worth noting. Many retailers won't ship to Alaska for some unknown reasons. They don't know that Anchorage is the fourth largest cargo hub in the western hemisphere and generally, when we do order items we get them well before the shipper tells us we will. Why? Note mention of hub earlier. Dah. I order items in the winter months well ahead of summer so that I have them when I need them. The items sit in my garage patiently waiting for me to use them. etrailer.com has very good customer service. Far better than [other online retailers]. I have placed orders with etrailer.com and if it can't be filled or they need additional info, they call me! What? Call me? You betcha. Excellent and very much appreciated. When I do rec'v them, the items are all well packed and after delivery, they send a follow up message. So, yes, I will continue to order from these folks.

I went to two of the three auto parts stores in our little town thinking that a plain brake hose could be had. Turns out that brake hoses these days are all model specific and the clerks politely refused to help me without a part or model #. So I searched the internet and finally found exactly what I wanted here at etrailer. Not only that but the price was very fair and shipping cost was surprisingly low. Delivery was prompt and the after sale follow up from the folks at etrailer gives me chuckle...I ain't never seen this kind of "takin' care of business" for a little $26 order like mine was. This e-business is a "favorite".
