Best option would be a set of tie down anchors that attach to the stake pockets of the truck. For that we have the Erickson tie down anchors part # EM01003 which will attach to the stake pockets by grabbing them from the underside of the opening and give you a loop on top of them for your tie downs to attach. view full answer...
We do offer some aluminum tie down options but they are not exactly the d ring type. Instead they are tracks that will use steel anchors that get attached to them like the Buyers Products Super Track Kit - 4 Clear Anodized Extruded Aluminum Rails With 8 Tie Rings part # 337ST93. I have installed alot of these tracks and they work out really well and will not cause rusting issues. The tie down anchors like the Replacement Tie-Down Ring for Super Track System part # 337LR1 can easily be attached... view full answer...
I think we have just what you are looking for. Check out our Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchor, # WFSPDR. This anchor mounts in the stake pockets on your trailer and gives you a d-ring tie-down point. These will work great with the Bulldog Winch Tie-Down Straps, # BDW20230 and they have a weight capacity of 4,000 lbs per anchor, which is as much capacity as you will get out of pretty much any stake pocket anchor.
I attached a photo that one of our other customers submitted using these stake... view full answer...
I may have a solution for you, however the ProGrip Retractable Tie-Down Anchors # 317-850760 that you referenced are not compatible with the stake pockets on your 2016 Ford F-150. At this time we do not have any stake pocket tie-down anchors available that will work on your truck.
An alternative that should work nicely is the Extang CargoCleats Truck Bed Tie-Down Anchors # EX1932. These are universal tie-downs that will mount anywhere under a truck's bed side rail without the need for... view full answer...
The Erickson E-Track Tie Down Ring # 59147 that you mentioned will work very nicely along with the Erickson Roller Idler # EM09144. This tie down ring has a Safe Working Load Limit of 2,000 pounds and a 6,000 pound capacity. As you referenced in your question, when using this with the Roller Idler that will act as an anchor point, the strap will then be fed through the ratchet and run more parallel to the E-track. This will not affect the weight capacity of the Tie Down Ring. I confirmed... view full answer...
Yes, we do carry a set of stake pocket tie down anchors that will work on your 1977 Ford F250. Check out the Erickson Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchors # EM09085. These are a universal fit item, but as long as the length of your stake pockets are less than 2-1/2 inches this tie-down will work great for you. view full answer...

The Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchor # WFSPDR and the Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchor # T355 are made by different companies who use different manufacturing techniques so their prices are different. The higher rated one would be the one I would go with since it costs less.
Both would work just fine with the # HW03-080. view full answer...
Nuts and bolts would be the best way to secure the Lets Go Aero D-Ring Tie-Down Anchors for Cargo Carriers - Bolt On - 800 lbs - Qty 4 Item # MMP536 that you referenced. You'd need a pretty large self-tapping screw to fit the hole of the anchor but it technically could be possible. The self tapping threads would not hold nearly as well as nuts and bolts though. view full answer...
For a flat aluminum trailer tie down, I recommend the Tow-Rax Low-Profile Floor Track for Tie-Down Anchors - Aluminum - 6' Long - Machined - Qty 1 # TWSP72TA along with the Tie-Down Anchor for Tow-Rax Low-Profile Floor Track - 1,666 lbs - Qty 1 # TWSPDSTD225.
I don't recommend using the DISCONTINUED Draw-Tite Truck Bed Stake Pocket Chrome Anchor Points 92509. You want to be very careful about galvinic corrosion when using dissimilar metals. These may work well because of the rubber... view full answer...
For a tie down D-Ring that doesn't have a weld to fail like your current tie-down you'd have to transition to a different design like the etrailer D-Ring Tie Down Anchor # RRING-Q6000. The options we have with the same design that you currently have unfortunately don't come with an endless loop so you'd have to switch to a different design. It has a maximum load (break strength) of 6,000lbs and safe working load limit (WLL) of 2,000lbs. I've attached a diagram of its dimensions below as... view full answer...
Sounds like you are looking for D-Ring Tie Down anchors like the part # LRB1 which would get bolted to the floor of your trailer and has a 4,000 lb capacity.

The stake pockets on 2014+ Chevy/GMC trucks are unique design and most universal stake pocket tie-downs such as the ProGrip Retractable Tie-Down Anchors part # 317-850760 won't fit. Therefore, this leaves you with custom stake pocket tie-downs that are designed for an exact stake pocket opening. The Putco Push-Up Tie-Downs for Rear Truck Bed Stake Pockets part # P99914 is the only custom fit option we know for sure will fit. view full answer...
With the Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchors # PK-SPTD there are two ways this can be installed. The more permanent method which requires you to use the nuts on the pin that runs through it which holds it tight and prevents movement. Or using the cotter pin which allows a bit more movement but also the ability to remove when not needed.
If you used the nuts to tighten the anchors down you'd get rid of the movement. view full answer...
For the channels on top of Rhino Rack crossbars we have tie down anchors that fit into them with the part # S604. The channel on the bottom side of a Rhino Rack crossbar is a slightly different size which is why the part # RRS606 won't fit. view full answer...
While there aren't any ratchet straps that fit directly in stake pockets of a trailer, we do have stake pocket tie-down anchors that you can use as a way to connect the ratchet straps; what you can use is the Stake Pocket Tie-Down Anchors # PK-SPTD.
Then for ratchet straps you can use something like the Bulldog Winch 13-Piece Ratcheting Vehicle Tie-Down Strap Set - 3,335 lbs # BDW20350. view full answer...
I do have an option for you but there is actually a tie-down bolt kit designed specifically for the Rola Haul-Your-Might Truck Bed Ladder Rack, part 59796 but it has been discontinued. That said, the Eyebolts for Rhino-Rack Aero/Sportz Crossbars part # S604 should work in its place no problem. The CargoSmart Eye Bolt Tie-Down Anchors part # 348819 would not be a fit. view full answer...
