I recommend using the Curt # 13389 because of the quality of the powder coat on the Curt hitches compared to some of the other available hitches. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver and is a confirmed fit on the 2007 Chrysler Town and Country models with the Stow-N-Go seats.

According to my research your 2000 Chrysler Town and Country can be flat towed with all 4 wheels on the ground as long as you use a transmission lube pump from Remco Industries. We sell everything else you would need except for the lube pump.

You can't go wrong with either of the brake controllers you mentioned. The main difference between the controllers is how user-friendly the display is. The Prodigy # 90885 P2 uses an digital display that will display error codes in the event of any problems with the trailer's braking system.
