Parts Needed For Installing a Trailer Brake Controller On 2013 Chrysler Town and Country With 4-Way
Question:
Maybe you can help me... I need to get my 2013 Chrysler Town & Country to run the brakes I just bought. My van has a 7 pin connector, but only powered by the 4 pin. What brake controller should I buy that is not overpriced? Thanks

As it sounds like you have a Curt Trailer Connector Adapter # C57672 on your 2013 Chrysler Town and Country you will need the Wiring Kit # 5506. This will contain the wiring, connectors and circuit breakers needed to power a brake controller as well as the charge line for the trailer breakaway battery. I recommend using the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR. This brake controller uses a small dash mounted control knob to give it a clean look. The main unit will be hidden behind the dash so it will not take up leg room like other larger control boxes that mount to the dash.
