Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller Installation on 2016 Chrysler Town and Country
Question:
Im looking at the putting the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller on a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country with factory trailer wiring and connector. Your web page states without factory trailer connector. Why the without factory trailer connector comment? I see your videos do not cover a van with the factory wiring. Do you have information on the Chrysler wiring, possible physical placement due to knee airbags and how to add this or another controller to the van? Note I purchase this controller from you for my 2009 Tahoe which your information on that vehicle was great. thanks.

If your 2016 Chrysler Town and Country already has a 4-pole flat trailer connector installed (at the factory or by the dealer) then installation of the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885 will require only the # ETBC7 installation kit along with the controller. The linked video shows the complete install process in a similar vehicle and references the air bag at the 17:45 mark. An install article for the kit is linked as well.
