  • Installation Of SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack On 2003 Subaru Legacy
  • When you are installing the roof rack it is really important you follow the installation instructions in order to get a good fit. I spoke with a couple of our installers and they told me they have to shift the rack a little to get it to fit just right. Per the instructions I saw you need to set the width for the feet at 32. If the feet are adjustable you may be able to move them a bit by using the main screw for the feet. Then, measuring from the center line between the door post and...

  • Can 2012 Subaru Legacy Rubber Exhaust Isolator Be Touching Trailer Hitch
  • As long as it is just the rubber isolators on your 2012 Subaru Legacy exhaust that are touching the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13158 I wouldn't worry about it. You can try moving the hangers on the muffler some but basically as long as you don't have metal-on-metal contact and there isn't any noise happening you're good to go.

  • The trailer wiring harness connector you will need to locate to install a trailer wiring harness like the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118461 on a 2005 Subaru Legacy will be located in the rear hatch, near the spare tire well. That said, this model is a bit trickier than most so you will most likely end up removing more panels than needed to find it. It can be to the left or right of the spare tire well behind the panel or in between the seat and spare tire well under that panel.

  • Trailer Hitch Installation for a 2014 Subaru Legacy
  • The installation of the Draw-Tite # 75673 that you referenced that has been confirmed to fit your 2014 Subaru wouldn't be too difficult but I can understand wanting to have someone else install the hitch for you. However, check out the video link I attached to the right. It shows exactly how this hitch will install on a very similar Legacy as yours. Any qualified mechanic with a good reputation in your area would have no problem installing this hitch. Compared to what they normally do...

To hard wire the kit, you would use the included circuit tester to determine which wire carries each function behind your vehicle tail lights. You will also need to run a power wire to the positive terminal on the vehicle battery....
