You would be able to install the Diode part # RM-690 on any circuit you wanted to protect. We have some people who use them to prevent backfeeding while charging the battery or for TrailerMate wiring kits we have found that you do need to install a diode on all three circuits if using an Invisibrake.

I was able to confirm with my contact over at Hopkins, who manufacture the Brake Buddy Classic 3 # HM39494 that you will want to use the standard setting with your 2017 Jeep Wrangler. You would only want to use the "hybrid" setting with an actual hybrid vehicle since the amount of brake pressure required in those braking systems is minimal compared to regular vehicles, even with assisted braking systems.

To install the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # HM56200 on your 2017 Jeep Wrangler, you'll plug the female end of the harness into the existing male connector from your taillight, and then the other male end of # HM56200 will get plugged into the taillight.

There is definitely a way to find out! Since the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR has a 6-1/2" length from the center of the shank's pinhole to the closest part of the rack, I recommend making a measurement on your 2021 Jeep Wrangler. You need to measure the center of the hitch's pinhole to the outside surface of your spare tire. If that length is less than 6-1/2", you do not need a hitch extender. Basically, there are 2 different ways on which you can install trailer wiring on a 1999 Jeep Wrangler.
