Which Setting for Brake Buddy Classic 3 When Used in 2017 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler equipped with electronic brake force distribution EBD and brake assist system BAS. I just bought the Brake Buddy Classic 3 from e-trailer and have it installed and ready for use in this vehicle. However, Im confused as to which setting I should use : hybrid or standard. I would appreciate your advise as to the proper setting for my Jeep. Thanks.

I was able to confirm with my contact over at Hopkins, who manufacture the Brake Buddy Classic 3 # HM39494 that you will want to use the standard setting with your 2017 Jeep Wrangler. You would only want to use the "hybrid" setting with an actual hybrid vehicle since the amount of brake pressure required in those braking systems is minimal compared to regular vehicles, even with assisted braking systems.
I've linked an installation video of this system on a similar Jeep JK for you to have a look at as well.
