I believe you're talking about the black module box that comes with the T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56331 for your 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan. If that's what you're wanting to replace then you'll need a whole new kit as Curt hasn't built out their module boxes to just be swapped out like that.

There is possibly trimming required to install the Curt trailer hitch # 13364 on your 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan. If it is it's fairly minimal. Take a look at the diagram I've attached. Your husband is going to need to test fit the hitch on the van to see if the receiver tube clears the bumper fascia. If it does then no trimming is necessary. If the tube doesn't clear the bumper then he'll need to do some trimming.

The find the rise/drop of a ball mount you will measure from the top of the shank to the place where the ball mount platform meets the hitch ball (see attached picture).

I reached out to my contact at Curt to determine why that bolt is not included in the # 13364. He took a look at that specific video with me and we were able to determine that there was a change in the hitch design. In the 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan video which I've attached, there were 3 holes and a notch on the passenger side where the AC lines ran. It's not uncommon for hitches to get bent in shipping which makes the mounting holes not line up as easily as they should. So if the holes are off only by a little bit what you can do is start all of the bolts loose and then torque them down and you'll be good. But if they are off by a significant amount you'll need to use some leverage to bend the hitch back in place so that the holes line up. Some people will use open stairwells for leverage or vices, or jacks...

The brake switch wire you will need on your 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan to install the PowerTrac # 39523 is the white wire with a green stripe. It should only have power when the brake pedal is pressed and not at any other time. The vehicle tail light circuit cannot be used because the brake signal is not the only circuit on that wire. When installing wiring for a 7-Way on your 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan, like the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7, it's less about the color wiring and more about what functions they are connected to in regards to the AWG. For example, the black and blue wires that come on this connector are actually 10 gauge instead of 12 gauge like what you have. You can definitely use 12 gauge wire but we just prefer to use the larger size for the brake controller and 12V power functions.

I have a good solution for you but unfortunately the Upright Roof Bike Carrier part # S64720 that you referenced can not be keyed to use the same key. As an option and to stay very cost effective I recommend using a cable lock like Fulton 15' Long Cable Lock part # FCLK150100 .
