There should be a sticker or label or plate on the OEM trailer hitch you have on your 2016 Tiguan. If you cannot find the label you can call the dealership and they would be able to tell you what Class hitch was installed on your vehicle.

The 225/75R15 is going to have about 3/4" taller sidewall so you will want to make sure you currently have about 2" of clearance around the tire when your suspension is compressed. Remember to also check the distance between both tires as this will decrease by 1-1/2". The width of the tire is going to only increase just under 1/2". So an additional 1/4" on each side of the tire. If these all work for your clearances than the next step is the load range.

I have a box that will fit your batteries but the TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box # TLA7700L has the overall dimension to fit your batteries but the problem arises on the construction of the inside and the length of your batteries. I do have another flat ball mount for the 1-1/4 inch hitch on a 2010 VW Tiguan. It is the Draw-Tite Class II Ball Mount, # 36051. I went to the warehouse and measured the distance from the weld to the center of the hitch pin hole and it measured 2-3/4 inches.
You will want to measure the ball mount you have and see if this ball mount will work on your VW factory hitch.
