Roof Rack For 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan For Thule Hullavator Kayak Carrier

Will the Thule Hullavator fit on VW OEM crossbars for a 2022 Tiguan, or do we need different cross bars?

I checked directly with Thule for you, and the factory roof rack on your 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan will not allow you to carry the Hullavator, so you will need a new roof rack. Your Tiguan should have raised side rails which will make it easy to attach the roof rack, and the exact parts you will need are the following:

- Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - 53" Long - Silver # TH711400 or Black # TH711420

- Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401

- Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist with Tie-Downs # TH898

I verified with Thule this rack is a fit for your '22 Tiguan with raised side rails, and is going to give you the best possible set up for a rack and kayak carrier.
