Does the Curt Hitch C13381 for a 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan Require Cutting/Trimming
Question:
I purchased a hitch for my 2020 VW Tiguan. The printed install instructions differ from your video. The video speaks to cutting the plastic valence, but the printed inst. does not. Which is correct? Do I have to cut? If so, I need the dimensions. Thanks

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13381 for a 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan offers a completely bolt-on installation with no cutting or drilling required. Therefore, you will not have to trim any of the lower rear bumper valence. The trailer hitch is super simple to install and should only take around 30 minutes.
