It sounds like you have a factory Class I 1-1/4 inch hitch on the 2019 Subaru Forester. Some Subaru Class I hitches are designed with the pin hole much closer to the front of the receiver and some are designed with a weld stop inside the receiver. It appears that your Forester has a 4-cylinder, 2.5L, engine. The Kat's # 11405 is the correct heater for this engine and the install location is on the (FL) front left. Since the average bike weighs about 35-lbs four bikes could have a total weight close to this limit. By the time you add the weight of the bike carriers you'd probably be over the limit. When you use an adapter like this you cut the tongue weight capacity of the hitch in half as well.
