I checked the owner's manual for the 2014 Honda CR-V and the only fuse that needs to be pulled is the accessory radio fuse in the interior fuse box. You need the single bypass part # RM76511.
However, the owner's manual says fuse 19 and the picture shows the wrong location. Roadmaster put out a tech bulletin with the correct location of the radio fuse. I have attached a photo for your reference. view full answer...
Yes. In order to install a trailer hitch like the etrailer # e98848 you will need to remove any tow hook that might be attached to the rear frame stanchions. It isn't uncommon for SUVs that don't come standard with a hitch come with some sort of recovery point, and they're typically able to be removed by un-doing a few bolts. This hitch has a 2" receiver that's perfect for carrying bike racks or towing a small trailer. It looks like you were looking at bike racks as well, so I've linked... view full answer...

I'm not completely familiar with the factory roof racks that came on Honda vehicles, but you may not be able to adjust the crossbars; you'll want to have a look at where they are mounted on the raised side rails and see if there is some sort of screw that can be unscrewed and would allow you to reposition them to your desired spots. If you find out that you're not able to move them around and you're stuck with the factory install points on the roof rack, there is still a way to work around... view full answer...

This carrier requires 24" minimum bar spread for proper mounting and holds up to 4 kayaks. It folds down flat for a cleaner look when not in use. The kayak you are carrying can be no longer than 10 feet for this carrier.
