I have changed tow cars and my existing tow bar is a Falcon 5250. Will the 5250 extensions and the removable bar fit and line up with the Roadmaster 1541-1 base plate. My new toad is a 2004 Honda CRV Thanx

The Roadmaster XL Base Plates, # 1541-1, for a 2004 Honda CR-V without brushguard are compatible with the Roadmaster Falcon Tow Bar, 5250.
In addition to the base plates and tow bar, you will also need safety cables, lighting, and a supplemental braking system for the CR-V. For safety cables, I recommend the coiled cables, # RM-643. The coiled design helps to keep the cables off of the ground.
For lighting, there are several options depending on your specific needs and how often you will towing the vehicle. I have included a link to an FAQ article that covers the various options so you can determine what would work best for you.
Most states now require a supplemental braking system on the vehicle being towed. The easiest to set up and use is the Roadmaster Even Brake, # RM-9400. This is a proportional system that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the towing vehicle is braking. This reduces wear and tear on both vehicles and is the safest way to stop.
I have included a link to our series of FAQ articles on flat towing for you.
