  • Outside Dimensions of Bottom Tow Mirror Clips on the Clip on Towing Mirror for a Honda Ridgeline
  • I went out to the warehouse and pulled the Cipa Clip-on Towing Mirror, # 7070 and I produced a short video showing the dimensions of the Clips on the mirror that you asked about, see link. The outside distance between the bottom clips on this towing mirror is 4 inches and the on center distance is 2-7/8 inches. The top clips that the strap attaches to are spaced 2-7/8 inches on center and 3-1/4 inches outside to outside.

  • Why Would Mounting Holes of Draw Tite Hitch that Fits 2006 Honda Ridgeline Not Line Up
  • The only reason the holes of the Draw Tite part # 75280 wouldn't line up with the frame holes of your 2006 Honda Ridgeline would be if it was bent in shipping which is unfortunately something that happens periodically. The brackets can pretty easily bend back though and as long as the paint doesn't flex or the metal crease it's totally safe to use.

  • Could I Use a Hitch Extender For Additional Clearance When Towing My Trailer
  • This Roadmaster Trailer Hitch Extension # RM-071 would not be the correct hitch extension for you. You might be able to use an 8 Inch Hitch Extender for 2 inch hitches # e88YR. However, you should note that if you use a hitch extender you essentially cut the towing capacities of the hitch in half. The # RM-071 that you referenced is designed for flat-towing purposes only. I attached an FAQ article on hitch extenders for you to check out also.

  • Recommended 7-Way Connector for a 2023 Honda Ridgeline
  • No, it won't but I have one that does. The Hopkins item # HM47570 is just an adapter that plugs into a round 7-way connector. To connect to your Ridgeline's factory 7-pin you will need the T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector item # 118288. This will replace your 4-way. If you want to have both a 7-way and 4-way connector on your Ridgeline you'll want to install the Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow Twist-Mount 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector item # HM40920...

  • Tongue Weight Capacity of the Top Receiver for the MaxxTow Ball Mount w/ Receiver # MT70066
  • The MaxxTow Ball Mount w/ 2" Accessory Receiver # MT70066 has a Gross Towing Weight (GTW) of 5,000 lbs and a a Tongue Weight (TW) of 500 lbs. The 500 lb TW is a combination of both the top receiver and the ball mount. Typically the TW of a vehicle is about 10% of the towing capacity. Since your 2018 Honda Ridgeline is rated for 5,000 lbs of towing it most likely has a TW of 500 lbs. You would be pushing or exceeding the TW of both this ball mount and your Ridgeline with your power wheelchair...

  • In regards to the Thule Force XT XL Rooftop Cargo Box part # TH6358B, you will need to install this so that the roof box is centered between the crossbars. This will ensure you have the best weight distribution possible allowing you to reach the full protentional of the box. Furthermore, when loading the box you'll need to place 1/2 of the cargo in the center and the remaining 1/2 of the cargo split between the front and rear. In regards to overhang, we don't have exact measurements to...

  • What Is The Length Of Wire Harness Attached To Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller
  • I pulled one of the Tekonsha Voyager brake Controllers, part # 39510 from our warehouse to take a measurement for you. The wire that exits the back of the brake controller measures 8 inches from the back of the unit to the end of the connector. If you have a 7-way connector on the rear of your 2013 Honda Ridgeline, you can use a quick connect adapter, part # 3070-P. One end simply attaches to the connector at the back of the brake controller and the other end plugs into built-in harness...

  • Recommended Solution with Load Assist for Carrying 2 Kayaks on 2020 Honda Ridgeline
  • I have a solution for you, but the Thule Hullavator # TH898 requires approximately 28.5" of bar space for each one, so it's going to be a bit of a tight squeeze on the 65" bars of the Malone SteelTop Roof Rack # MPG203 to mount two of them. The Hullavator also requires 4"-8" of space outside of each foot pack to avoid contact with the vehicle. With that said I have a solution that's going to work better for you. I recommend using the Thule Compass # TH890000, which will allow you to carry...

  • Is the Extang Trifecta Signature 2.0 Designed to Withstand Snow Sitting on the Cover?
  • The Extang Trifecta Signature 2.0 # EX94590 has aluminum frames under the tarp, so rarely is any of the weight that is placed on the tonneau ever going to be fully supported by the tarp itself. The tarp on the Trifecta comes permanently attached to the frame for this added support. It's also worth noting that the cover is sewn into the perimeter frame and corners instead of using the hook-and-loop strips found on other tonneaus, which will help with it's strength and ability to withstand...

  • How to Change Weight Rating of Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Hitch
  • Weight distribution systems like the Equal-i-zer # EQ37100ET really do need to be matched to the trailer's actual fully-loaded tongue weight (TW). Using a 1000-lb system with a smaller travel trailer like your R-Pod can result in jumpy and unpredictable handling from the trailer and this is not recommended. The good news is that it is easy to change the rated capacity of the system by changing out just the two spring bars; you do not need to replace the whole setup. You can replace the...

  • Will RhinoRack 2 Kayak Carrier Work On Factory Crossbars of Honda Ridgeline Truck
  • The Rhino-Rack 2 Kayak Carrier (the 2 kayak carrier is made using # S512 paired with Expansion Arm # RRS512X ) will mount to the factory crossbars on the 2019 Honda Ridgeline without any problems, but from what I was able to find from my research, it might not be able to carry the weight of your Hobie Mirage kayaks. Since this carrier has a 110-lb weight limit, and it appears that your kayaks weigh about 60-lbs each, the Rhino-Rack carrier may not be the best option for you. If you weigh...

  • Does the Access Lorado Tonneau Cover Limit Access to the In Bed Trunk on a 2023 Honda Ridgeline?
  • I would be happy to! The cover on the Access Lorado Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover item # A46039 will have to be rolled back quite a bit to access the in bed trunk. This is the only limitation you will encounter when installing the cover on your 2023 Honda Ridgeline.

  • Towing Capacities of 2007 Honda Ridgeline
  • The owners manual will be the final authority on the towing capacities of your 2007 Honda Ridgeline. From the research I did on your vehicle it looks to have a 5,000 lb total trailer weight capacity and a 500 lb tongue weight capacity. The Curt hitch part # 13385 that we offer that is a fit for your 2007 Honda Ridgeline has the same capacities as well.

  • Tongue Weight Ratings of Hitches Available for 2017 Honda Ridgeline
  • Any vehicle's rated tongue weight (TW) capacity is fixed and does not vary by installing a higher-rated hitch. A given hitch itself can certainly have a higher rating than the vehicle on which it is mounted and in such instances the lower-rated item determines overall capacity, as in the weakest-link-in-the-chain way of thinking. There is no way to bolt on additional TW capacity on any vehicle. Most often hitch makers engineer a hitch's capacity to more or less match that of the host vehicle....
