Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the stainless steel fender trim kit. This is going to be your officially licensed GM kit for your GMC Sierra. This is going to be a fit for the 2011 through 2014 GMC Sierra, and that's going to be for the 2500 and 3500 as well as the crew cab, extended cab and regular cab.So these are going to add a little extra chrome to your ride, make it a little bit more fancy. They are made of a 304 stainless steel construction, so they're going to be durable and rust resistant.

Our hardware is also rest resistant as it is also stainless steel, so we shouldn't have to worry about any rust or corrosion over time. You'll get four pieces, so one for each wheel well of your GMC Sierra. There's a little label on the inside there to help make it a little bit easier to see where each one of those goes.So this one is going to have that sort of shorter leg in the front. So this goes on our front driver's side. Can see the arrows there, little diagram to make it easy to tell where that goes.

Maybe be a little hard for you guys to see that but it is there. The two back wheel wells look pretty similar, but again all of them are going to have that label to make it easy to determine which one goes where. As far as the width of these, it's about one and three quarter inches wide up here at the top. It does kind of taper down at the bottom. It's a little bit narrower there.

It's about one and three eights inches, just to give you the reference.Now the hardware that it comes with here, you have kind of two options. You can either drill and use the screws for a more snug permanent fit or you can use little clips for a no drill application, so it's kind of up to you as far as how to do that. It does come with the instructions on how to get it installed. Should be relatively simple, either way that you want to go. There is that UV resistant rubber piece going around the outer edge of each of our trim pieces, that helps it to hold more snugly to our GMC truck.

You just want to be sure that whenever you put these in place that you kind of wash off any dirt or debris that might be on your truck. Doesn't have to necessarily be spotless, but the cleaner you can get it, Usually it's going to be a better fit for any kind of part like this.But that's pretty much going to do it for our look at the Putco stainless steel fender trim.
