Hey Morgan, so you are right we don't carry the Trailer Butler dolly but we do have a really great alternative with the Trailer Valet # TVRVR3 which is a similar electric dolly design and ALSO has a fancy name... I like this over the Trailer Butler because instead of requiring you to manually steer it the remote control also can turn as needed. The tracks of this will also have much better traction than the tire of the Butler. The price seems pretty similar too. view full answer...
Hey John, it is definitely possible to add brakes to a trailer with torsion axles but it comes down to whether or not the spindles of the trailer axles have brake mounting flanges currently as the biggest hurdle. They can be added but it's a little more involved. Next you'd need to know the axle capacity and the wheel bolt pattern and from there you'd have all info needed to add brakes.
If you check out the help article I attached you can see a guide that will walk you through the entire... view full answer...

We don't have a way to look up what your trailer axle would have but I can help you find it. You'd want to pull the hub off and either get the bearing numbers off the bearings or you could measure the spindle where the bearings ride. Due to age of your trailer there is chance it has parts that aren't available. view full answer...
Hey Blake, yes the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver #DT22MR will also work with your 2023 Kia Sportage PHEV! Also, upgrading your 4 flat to a 7 way which will give you the ability to tow a trailer with brakes, is pretty simple - you'll just need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. view full answer...
Hello David. The Draw-Tite # DT83MR is rated for towing up to 2,000 lbs. I am not sure exactly what cart and trailer you have, but as long as the weight of the trailer and cart combined is less than 2,000 lbs you will be just fine. Most golf carts are like 700 or 800 lbs and most 5x8 trailers would be about that weight as well. So, unless you have some excessively heavy cart or trailer you can definitely tow it 20 miles (or more) with the Draw-Tite # DT83MR hitch.
Since you plant to tow... view full answer...

One wire on each side is going to be a ground wire(white), the 2nd wire(brown) is going to be for the running lights and side marker/clearance lights and the 3rd wire(green or yellow) is going to be for the turn signal/brake lights for each side of the trailer. It plugs in line of your existing tail light wiring so there is no reprogramming of your Volvo's computer. If you are going to pull a larger trailer that requires an electric trailer brake controller you are going to also need... view full answer...
Hey Frank, the 10 inch brake assemblies are tied to the 3,500 lb trailer axle so most likely the part # AKEBRK-35 would be what you would need but you'd want to make sure the brake pads are 2-1/4 inches wide on your current setup and there is a four bolt pattern that holds the flange to the trailer spindle. The bolt pattern is 2-7/8 inches apart vertically and horizontally. view full answer...

According to the owners manual for your 2020 Chevy Equinox it appears you are going to be limited to a trailer weighing up to 1,000lbs when you do not have trailer brakes. I have included a snip image from your manual that shows most can only tow up to 1,500lbs with trailer brakes. If you have the 2.0L with the V92 provision then it can tow up to 3,505lbs with trailer brakes. As you only have a 4-way the 7-Way Kit # ETBC7 will provide you with the connector and wiring needed to step up... view full answer...
While the same style AC used on an RV can be used on an enclosed car trailer you will need to work with the manufacturer to ensure the roof has the bracing needed to support the weight of the air conditioner since they weigh between 60-80lbs.
If your trailer manufacturer says your roof is braced for the weight you can look at installing either a 13.5K # ADV94FR or 15K # ADV64FR system. view full answer...
Hey Paul, in order to obtain a 2" hitch ball setup for the Trailer Valet RVR3 Remote-Controlled Trailer Dolly part # TVRVR3-BB225 which comes with a 2-5/16" hitch ball you simply need the Replacement 2" Hitch Ball for Trailer Valet part # TVHB2. Hey Mike, so a friction sway control unit like the part # 83660 can help stop some of the sway that starts from wind or passing semis but if you are experiencing persistent sway once you hit a certain speed that will only be fixed by increasing the amount of tongue weight in your trailer relative to the total trailer weight. You need to have between 10 and 15 percent of the total trailer weight as tongue weight.
Or your trailer may be sitting too nose high and you'd need a ball mount... view full answer...
