Could 2006 LoadRite Snowmobile Trailer Use 3,500 lb Trailer Axle Brakes
Question:
Good morning. I have a 2006 LoadRite snowmobile trailer with 4 10” brake drums. The tag says each axle is 2500. Can I use 3500 rated brakes on this trailer? Thanks in advance, Frank

Hey Frank, the 10 inch brake assemblies are tied to the 3,500 lb trailer axle so most likely the part # AKEBRK-35 would be what you would need but you'd want to make sure the brake pads are 2-1/4 inches wide on your current setup and there is a four bolt pattern that holds the flange to the trailer spindle. The bolt pattern is 2-7/8 inches apart vertically and horizontally.
