Hey Mike, so a friction sway control unit like the part # 83660 can help stop some of the sway that starts from wind or passing semis but if you are experiencing persistent sway once you hit a certain speed that will only be fixed by increasing the amount of tongue weight in your trailer relative to the total trailer weight. You need to have between 10 and 15 percent of the total trailer weight as tongue weight.

Or your trailer may be sitting too nose high and you'd need a ball mount with more drop but most likely it's the tongue weight issue.

@Mike That definitely sounds like not enough tongue weight. If you can slide any cargo weight forward in the trailer that would be easiest solution.

Ok thanks Jameson, I would like to drop my ball mount a couple of holes because I can't open my tailgate without it hitting trailer tounge. If I lower ball mount should I lower the stabilizer saddles also? I have timberlin blocked in suspension now and do not like them. I would like to go to an air lift system. Do you guy's carry that brand? If so witch model you recommend? 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 crew 4x4 6.5ft bed. Thanks for your help

@Mike If you change the WD system head height on the shank you would not need change anything about the spring bars. We do have an Air Lift kit that fits your truck with the part # AL57204 as well.
